2023: Market Entry

Schwabe registered the neonatal respiratory support apparatus Reanimon. The press service of Rostec (this state corporation includes the Schwabe holding) announced this on October 9, 2023.

The device, developed by specialists of the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E.S. Yalamov (UOMZ), is designed for non-invasive respiratory therapy and ventilation of the lungs. The device has four modes of operation, including the possibility of short-term invasive and non-invasive ventilation through a T-shaped connector. This approach, according to the developers, reduces the risk of developing chronic pulmonary diseases by maintaining constant pressure in the respiratory tract. The device also has a built-in pulse oximeter, a cardiopulmonary resuscitation metronome and an apgar timer to assess the patient's condition, the Rostec press service added.
