Biocad (Abacus Financial (AF7))

The Biocad group, the Russian biotechnology holding, together with Omega company completed control automation by projects in the ABACUS Financial (AF7) system. The Biocad company is created in 2001, now specializes in development, production and promotion on the market of original and dzhenerikovy medicines.

Financial and economic organization activity is automated in the ABACUS Financial (AF7) system. As the standard office applications used in the company are not suitable tools in the presence of a large number of projects, the decision on transition to the project management system integrated into the ABACUS Financial (AF7) system was made.

At the first stage the project management system allowed to structure the human resources of the enterprise involved in projects, to create the system of the centers of project responsibility, to develop templates of standard projects. Besides, became possible to create on the basis of templates projects with refining of structure and parameters of works, their interrelations, requirements for limit start and end dates and also to create job schedules, to provide controlled access for employees to viewing and modification of parameters of project works, to quickly create reports.

At the second stage completions on expansion of a system of activity statuses with determination of a possibility of transition between the statuses and access of different roles of users to accomplishment of these transitions were carried out. Completions also concerned formation of a system of notifications on change of parameters of transactions. Besides, opportunities for work with versions of projects are increased.

Now in a new system more than two tens projects of different orientation are kept. In further plans of the company – development of a system in the direction of resource planning.
