Omega

The Omega company is formed in 1991. A core activity of the company - development and deployment of the software for management of the enterprises, complex automation of accounting and tax accounting of the medium-sized and large Russian enterprises. The Omega company is the leading developer of corporate information systems in the three-level client-server architecture based on DBMS Oracle.

Historical information

In 1991 specialists of the company created the program for automation of the financial accounting Abacus Professional for Russian Commodities and Raw Material Exchange. This program was one of the first Russian systems allowing to automate 60 jobs of the enterprise in a single network.

Thanks to such qualities as high-speed performance and steady work with large volumes of data, the thought-over interface and multifunctionality, a possibility of simultaneous operation of a large number of users in network, the ease of use, setup for specifics of accounting and other, a software package of the financial accounting Abacus Professional became the irreplaceable assistant in work of many accountants of the Russian companies of a different profile of activity. Now ABACUS Professional is a drawing software package of accounting and tax accounting.

From 1995 to 2000 the Omega company worked on creation of the powerful software product based on Oracle DBMS allowing a message development and deployment of three-level information systems for the medium-sized and large Russian enterprises (holdings). The Abacus Financial (AF7) system which represents a set of standard solutions for control automation by large enterprises and the building tool integrated into it was as a result created.

System development was conducted with the assistance of specialists of financial and commercial services, accounting, heads of departments of supply and sales of products, personnel managements of the large companies that allowed to receive the standard solution as close as possible to real working conditions. Since 2001 the Omega company carries out system implementation on large enterprises with intensive document flow.
