On October 23, 2023, the Russian developer of the intelligent cross-channel anti-fraud platform Fuzzy Logic Labs (part of Rostelecom Group of Companies) announced the launch of a software product - Session Anti-Fraud 2.0. It operates on the basis of the Smart Fraud Detection platform based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

As reported, Session Anti-Fraud 2.0 is designed to prevent theft of funds of bank customers, participants in online and offline retail loyalty systems, logistics services and protects against fraudulent actions of employees. The product can be used as a separate module for protecting remote client channels, as well as in conjunction with other platform products within the framework of a cross-channel solution.

This product combines a comprehensive approach to the formation of a client's behavioral profile by collecting more than 100 unique parameters of the user and his devices, including sessions on the Internet. This makes it possible to more effectively detect fraudulent activity in real time by using a mathematical model with AI. The use of machine learning technology as a whole class of AI methods increases the percentage of detection and prevention of abnormal events and illegal schemes at the stage of their appearance, which reduces reputational and financial losses, including the cost of investigations.

Session anti-fraud 2.0 was developed taking into account the requirements of the Bank of Russia (STO BR BFBO-1.7) and includes functionality to counteract such negative trends as fraud using methods social engineering. To do this, monitoring of key signs of fraud is carried out - the presence of programs for remote access on the client's device, as well as the VPN use/and TOR other anonymizing tools, the presence of an active call (including through) and messengers more than 100 signs.
