Integration of PLM and 3D - design

On November 13, 2014 Bentley Systems and Siemens PLM Software told about the recent combined actions taken for continuation of integration of product lifecycle management systems and processes with 3D - design.

For three-dimensional digital control automation by assets of the enterprises of the company used achievements of Bentley in issues of integration of technology of information modeling of buildings (BIM) using clouds of points with the newest modeling tools of technology processes in Siemens Tecnomatix software.

Development will give the chance to users of software solutions of Siemens in product lifecycle management (PLM) - to work with advanced three-dimensional digital models of the existing plants in operating conditions on the basis of these clouds of the points received by scanning.
