2023: 4.5-fold increase in activity

Muscovites began to transmit readings of water meters more often using the telegram bot "Digital Services of Moscow."

The activity of using the service has grown more than 4.5 times since the beginning of the year. This was announced on October 27, 2023 by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies (DIT).

Since the beginning of the mobile service in December 2022, the number of its users has increased eightfold. Here you can quickly register and send data from water meters to form utility bills. It is recommended to transmit readings from the 15th day of the current month to the third day of the next.

For those who prefer to use the Telegram messenger, the chatbot has become an indispensable assistant. Every month it reminds of the next period of data transfer of metering devices and allows you to do this as quickly and conveniently as possible. The number of unique users of the bot in less than a year increased from 3.5 thousand to 30 thousand. If at the beginning of 2023 the townspeople transmitted readings of water metering devices about a thousand times a month, then in October 2023 - already over 4.8 thousand, - noted in the press service of the Moscow Department of Information Technologies.

To start using the chatbot, you need to enter "Digital Services of Moscow" or @ mos_services_bot in the search bar of the messenger, click the "Start" button and register. To do this, you need to specify a mobile phone number and confirm it with a code from an SMS message. Then click on the "Transfer water/heat readings" button and specify the type of meter: "Water."

Next, the bot will offer to select one of three commands: "KP Registration" (payer code), "KP List" and "KP Deletion." When using the service for the first time, you need to select "KP Registration" and specify the payer code, as well as the apartment number (or register several apartments at once).

In the future, you will not need to enter this information: the bot will remember it and subsequently the user will only have to select the desired apartment by clicking on the "List of KP" button, and then immediately proceed to the transmission of readings. If the counters are sent correctly, the message "Request accepted" will appear in the chat. If necessary, the apartment number and the payer code can be deleted by clicking on the corresponding button.

The service also allows you to view meter readings for any period using the "Current Readings," "Last Readings" and "Reading Archive" buttons. If the data transfer fails, click the Delete Last Readings button, and then enter the readings again. In addition, at any step, when using the bot, you can click on the "begin" and "go back" buttons.
