Russian companies from the field of railway transportation are starting to test the CRM system. Synergy University announced this on November 1, 2023.

The CRM system for logistics companies is being created according to the project of Alexandra Artamonova, a student of the Faculty of Management of Synergy University, who won the student startup competition and won a grant of 1 million rubles for the project.

Alexandra Artamonova's project involves the development of a CRM system for managing railway transportation and is aimed at solving the problems of logistics companies. During the use of well-known CRM systems, the student found that they did not allow solving the necessary logistics tasks due to the problem of the lack of a program that combines all the railway logistics management units.

To simplify and link the process of transporting goods using rail transport, the student created a project of CRM systems. The peculiarity of the project is that it will help speed up the response to requests, optimize the storage and use of customer data, plan operational work, collect data in one place and analyze it.

Thanks to the platform, applications for transportation will be processed better, process automation will save time for employees, supply chains will be automated, which will ultimately help to maintain and increase the company's profit.

Alexandra Artamonova said that the duration of the entire project will be about three years. By November 2023, the development team and she, as the project manager, are completing the first project block - CRM. It is planned that in the future the project will go into the 5PL format and help to ensure a full cycle of sale of goods, including delivery of goods to the warehouse and its processing, pre-sale, sending an order to the end user, receiving revenue and sending profit to the client company.

In the future, the project can be turned into a full-fledged marketplace for manufacturers of various products and companies providing logistics services.

The development of student startups allows not only to support entrepreneurial and innovative projects of students, but also to enrich the sphere with new ideas. In 2023, following the selection of the Student Startup competition, 1.5 thousand of the best student projects received funding of 1 million rubles for the creation of new technologies. A student of the University "Synergy" became one of such winners. Her example shows that young people are able to influence a whole system and offer solutions that will establish the work of key industrial companies through the implementation of technological startups, - commented the rector of Synergy University Artem Vasiliev.
