Criminal case over university admissions fraud

• In 2003, IFPU became a member of the European Foundation for Management Development. In the same year, the university publishing house (Synergy Publishing House) was founded and a college was opened at IFPU.
• In 2004, the Employment Center was opened - a structural division of IFPU, whose specialists help students navigate the labor market, assess their potential and find high-paying jobs in partner companies. Streaming employment of students in the company - partners of the university begins.
• In 2005, the Council for the Defense of Candidate Dissertations was opened at the IFPU.
• In 2006, Synergy joined the Magna Charta Universitatum. This document recognized the high educational standards of Synergy abroad. Also in 2006, a unique portal of distance education MegaCampus was opened, developed by IT specialists of MFPU.
• In 2007, IFPU co-founded the National Association for Entrepreneurship Training (RAOP). International relations are expanding. IFPU enters into cooperation agreements with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The powers of the university in the field of Russian science have expanded. Two councils for the defense of doctoral dissertations have opened at the IFPU. The practical work of the institution continues - the creative agency Synergy Design has opened.
• In 2008, the IFPU team was evaluated by the Russian government and became a laureate of the Russian Government Prize for educational programs and teaching aids in the field of competition and entrepreneurship. At the same time, the microfinance organization Synergy Capital was created (the new name is IQ Capital).
• In 2009, IFPU became the first Russian university to receive accreditation from the European Foundation for Quality in e-Learning (EFQUEL) and received the prestigious UNIQUe quality mark and the 2009 EFQUEL Award.
• In 2010, a historical merger of the two institutions takes place. Business School "Synergy" is part of the Moscow Financial and Industrial University. The university received a new name: MFPU "Synergy" (University "Synergy"). The Supervisory Board of Synergy University has been created, which includes well-known entrepreneurs, representatives of state bodies and public figures. The Synergy TV information and educational channel begins broadcasting. The first recruitment for the University's First Business program is taking place, in which student business projects receive support and funding. The institution is expanding. The University includes the Arsenal School of Managers. At the same time, the University wins the competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee for the creation of a Volunteer Training Center for the XXII Olympic Winter Games. Later, in 2014, 1200 volunteers from the Synergy University Volunteer Training Center were sent to the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi. For their successful work, the university received the award "For a significant contribution to the implementation of the Sochi-2014 volunteer program and the development of the volunteer movement in the Russian Federation."
• In 2011, the Language Center was created on the basis of the University. And another expansion of opportunities for student education - the University includes the only time management company in Russia - Time Organization.
• In 2012, Synergy Business School opened a campus in Dubai (UAE) and became the first Russian business school to implement MBA master's programs abroad in a foreign language. The university receives the government award "For contribution to the development of entrepreneurial education in the Russian Federation."
• In 2013, a new structure of the University was approved. The first Faculty of Business in Russia has been opened.
• In 2014, the University opened the Faculty of Linguistics.
• In 2015, Synergy University organized the largest business event of the year Synergy Global Forum, which brought together 6,000 participants. As part of the two-day forum, Brian Tracy, Garrett Johnston, Keith Ferrazzi, Radislav Gandapas and other leading Russian and world business speakers spoke on the Crocus City Hall stage. In the same year, the first faculty of the Internet in Russia was opened at Synergy University.
