2021: Up 30%
In 2021, Russian EdTech the supplier of ROBBO showed an increase of 30%, mainly due to the development of an international network of children's technical circles ROBBOClub.ru. This became known on January 10, 2022. More than 30 ROBBO Club franchises were sold. The company also delivered over 170 Engineering classes to schools, went to three countries (, and) and Bangladesh Slovakia Turkmenistan opened a representative office in. China
Due to the rapid expansion of the business, the company has increased its staff: the sales department has doubled, and the support and caring for partners has been allocated to a separate department.
At the end of the year, ROBBO entered the register of reliable franchises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
In 2021, there were fewer major restrictions associated with. So pandemic people without previous concerns invested in buying franchises, and the business was regaining its position. True, our partners still gave preference to the online direction. You can launch a remote circle almost half as much as an offline club, and the robotics risks of closing a business due to a lockdown are lower. At the same time, the franchisee receives marketing business support from "ROBBO" in the same amount. However, people want to return to normal life as soon as possible, so we expect a jump in demand for the company's offline products in 2022, "said Ekalo Ekalo, franchise director of ROBBO. |
ROBBO continued to develop its line educational of products for schools. The company ensured product compatibility operating system Russian with production, ROSA launched its own LMS with simulators of real electronic devices for conducting online robotics classes and began working with tools. History
2024: Opening of "Robbo Club" in Serbia
ROBBO opened the first ROBBO Club in Serbia. His plans are to create a network of his robotic circles in the country. The company announced this on March 20, 2024.
The decision to enter the Serbian market "ROBBO" was led by the conclusions made during the study of the situation in the country with the education of children IT and robotics.
Due to the shortage of IT specialists, the Government pays increased attention to the development of IT education in Serbia. Programming courses, for example, in 2019 became mandatory in primary schools in the country. In addition, private IT schools are actively opening in it, technological free camps and hackathons for schoolchildren are held, IT circles appear.
Opportunities for teaching robotics in children in Serbia are also growing. However, its scale within the framework of basic and additional education in the country is growing much more slowly and is not yet comparable to IT teaching.
At the same time, sections and classes in robotics in schools, as a rule, involve the interaction of students with ready-made designers. This approach does not allow children to fully master robotics, as it implies the use of already prepared templates.
The appearance of ROBBO Clubs in Serbia will significantly increase the possibilities for children to study not only robotics and programming, but also microelectronics, circuitry, physics, 3D modeling and printing.
The first ROBBO Club in Serbia, ROBBO, launched with the help of franchisees in early March 2024 in Belgrade. The company's partners plan to open a number of ROBBO Clubs in the capital of the country, as well as other large cities of Serbia.
Children from 5 to 15 years old can study at the ROBBO Club in Belgrade. Their training involves the equipment "ROBBO": "ROBBO Platform," "ROBBO Laboratory," a set of circuitry "ROBBO," "ROBBO 3D printer" and "ROBBO Dancing Robot."
Local teachers conduct classes at the club who have remotely completed a course compiled by the methodical department of ROBBO. He allowed them to study the principles and schemes of the company's equipment, as well as its educational methods. At the end of the course, successful testing on all topics passed and the protection of projects, teachers received "ROBBO" certificates for the right to conduct training using its products and methodological materials.
Classes in the club are held in Serbian, Russian and English. Mostly they consist of practical tasks. During the training, children will be able to go all the way from creating an image of a robot on a computer screen to its implementation using a 3D printer.
Since the ROBBO equipment is built on open source technologies, students have the opportunity to create more complex programs for it in difficult programming languages. This allows them to increase the ability to control equipment.
They can also study the ROBBO equipment device: disassemble it, reproduce any of their parts and make new modules for it. As a result, children actively develop the abilities necessary for creativity, creative thinking and inventive skills.
In the classroom, they will gradually learn how to create projects to implement robots to solve real practical problems, both independently and in a team. Also, students will gain experience in publicly protecting projects and figure out how to promote them correctly.
Thus, when visiting the club, children will gain from an early age the knowledge that is necessary to become the "digital Jedi" of the future - to learn to understand how new digital products are arranged and how to develop them on their own.
In recent years, the Serbian government has actively supported the development of the IT sphere in the country. Therefore, the training of a new generation of specialists, whose competencies and skills are necessary for new achievements in this area, is one of the priority tasks of the state. The creation of ROBBO Clubs in the country will help speed up its solution. The prerequisite for their appearance is also that interaction with the Russian IT community is already actively developing in Serbia, since it is close to the ideas of technological sovereignty, which, in particular, are supported by ROBBO, "commented Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. |
2023

ROBBO's product portfolio was replenished in 2023 with two solutions. Among them is a sovereign online Scratch.ru platform for participants in the International Scratch-Olympics in creative. to programming The company began its development in connection with the ban on use Russia educational in the Scratch.Mit.Edu portal, the risks posed by its use, and the need to promote import substitution software in the country.
In addition, ROBBO created in 2023 a multifunctional 3D prototyping center Q-fab, completely safe for children. Compared to the device that the company previously released, it is distinguished by advanced features and an improved body. Q-fab, for example, uses two lasers instead of one or more powerful milling machines. You can easily switch from one tool to another - the device automatically detects it and switches to the desired mode.
Also, ROBBO continues to improve existing products. For example, in a quadcopter, the company replaced chips and some other electronic components, after which the characteristics of the devices became better. The neurointerface had reduced mass and the quadcopter had increased power.
ROBBO has also improved the Varwin Robotics VR modeling platform for robotic devices. Now the product allows you to program and control prototype drones in virtual space.
In 2023, we paid special attention to the development of new products and the improvement of previously developed ones. In connection with the departure of Western vendors, we are actively participating in the import substitution of extremely important formations IT products for the Russian sphere. We also continue to confidently expand the presence of ROBBO in many countries and contribute to the education of young innovators around the world. It is necessary to nurture them from school everywhere so that the digital future comes in Russia and other countries in the foreseeable future, - said the founder and producer of ROBBO. Pavel Frolov |
In 2024, ROBBO plans to enter the markets of five more countries of the world. The company's priority is the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as the Middle East. In addition, ROBBO intends to actively expand the geography of its presence in Russia.

ROBBO will open with the help of franchisees in early 2024 ROBBO Club in New Cairo. In addition, the company is negotiating the opening of ROBBO Clubs and ROBBO Classes with other potential partners in Cairo and Alexandria. The company announced this on December 14, 2023.
The ROBBO Club, which will open in New Cairo, will be attended by children from 5 to 15 years old. During the classes, they will have to work with the ROBBO equipment: ROBBO Platform, ROBBO Laboratory, ROBBO Circuitry set, a set of elements of a dancing robot and a 3D printer.
These devices will allow teachers to introduce children to 3D modeling and printing, as well as explain to them the basics of programming, robotics, microelectronics, circuitry and physics. They will be able to learn to understand deeply how any new products work and know how to create them.
The children will be taught by local teachers who will undergo remote training at the "ROBBO" methodological department. It will allow teachers to study the principles and schemes of the company's equipment, as well as its educational methods. Upon completion of the course, successful testing on all topics passed and protection of projects, ROBBO will issue certificates to teachers for the right to conduct training using its products and methodological materials.
Classes will be conducted in Arabic. Students over 12 years old with a sufficient level of knowledge of the English language in the future will be able to undergo training in them. At the ROBBO Club, children will go all the way from creating an image of a robot on a computer screen to implementing it using a 3D printer.
They will learn to create projects to implement robots to solve real practical problems, both independently and as a team. They will also gain experience in publicly protecting projects and figure out how to promote them correctly.
Since the ROBBO equipment is built on open source technologies, students will be able to create more complex programs for it in "adult" programming languages in order to increase its control capabilities.
They will also have the opportunity to disassemble robots, reproduce any part of them and make new modules for them. This will allow children not only to play with the ROBBO equipment, but to study its device. In addition, they will actively develop creative abilities, creative thinking and inventive skills.
Thus, thanks to classes at the ROBBO Club, children from an early age will be able to gain the knowledge that is necessary to become the "digital Jedi" of the future - to learn to understand how new digital products are arranged and how to try to develop them yourself.
Egypt In December 2023, there are not enough robotics schools, and the demand for training is IT actively growing. Egypt in this area lags behind Russia by about five years. At the same time, Egypt and many others countries Africa at the state level clearly understand the need for IT development. At the same time, Egypt has a fairly large share of the young population: out of 100 million residents, about 21 are children under 18 years old. All this gives reason to believe that IT training in Egypt will actively develop. Therefore, ROBBO is counting on success in this country, - said the founder and producer of ROBBO. Pavel Frolov |
Getting a certificate ST-1
ROBBO received a certificate from the ST-1 Chamber of Commerce and Industry and an opinion from the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the compliance of decisions with the requirements of Resolution 719 for products produced in Russia. The list includes seven decisions of the company. The company announced this on December 6, 2023.
The conclusion on confirmation of production in Russia was received by: "ROBBO Roboplatform," "ROBBO Laboratory," "ROBBO Set of extensions for roboplatform," "ROBBO Set of extensions for Laboratory," "ROBBO Circuitry," "ROBBO Dancing robot," "ROBBO Dancing robot set of materials for assembly."
The examination carried out by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry confirmed the compliance of the products with the requirements of the Resolution. In particular, such as: the use of Russian electronic modules in production, the manufacture of printed circuit boards, housing and connecting parts, assembly and adjustment of the finished product. Also during the examination, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry confirmed the development of the company's own methodological materials for the use of educational equipment.
Obtaining an opinion from the Ministry of Industry and Trade is an important step for ROBBO for several reasons. For example, we have the opportunity to participate in large state projects, where the status of "Russian manufacturer" is one of the main criteria for the selection of products. Also, additional equipment labeling will help us convince educational institutions to choose exactly our solutions for teaching children. In addition, it should be noted that robotics in accordance with Decree 719 are rare for December 2023, "said Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. |
All ROBBO products are included in the State Industrial Information System (GISP). It contains a list of products with a confirmed domestic origin. The presence in GISP allows ROBBO to have a high market position. In addition, it simplifies the interaction of the company with customers: the platform operates in one window, where customers can familiarize themselves with a wide variety of products and select suppliers. Manufacturers, in turn, can submit a request for state support there.
The opening of the "Robbo class" in the training center of Nanjing in China
ROBBO, together with a partner, opened a ROBBO class in the training center of Nanjing in China. Previously, robotics classes were not held in it. The company announced this on October 18, 2023.
Teachers conduct classes in the "ROBBO class" in Chinese. Their program is designed for students aged 5 to 15 years. It involves the study by children of robotics, microelectronics, circuitry, programming, physics, as well as 3D modeling and 3D printing during work with ROBBO equipment. The class includes ROBBO Laboratory, ROBBO Platform, ROBBO 3D Printer, ROBBO Circuitry and ROBBO Dancing Robot.
In classes, children can go all the way from creating a robot image on a computer screen to bringing it to life using a 3D printer. They learn to create projects to implement robots to solve real practical problems, both independently and as a team. They also gain experience in publicly protecting projects and understand how to promote them correctly.
Since the company's equipment is built on open source technologies, students can create more complex programs for it in "adult" programming languages in order to increase its control. They also have the ability to disassemble robots, reproduce any of them and make new modules for them. This allows children not just to play with the ROBBO equipment, but to study its device. In addition, they actively develop creative abilities, creative thinking and inventive skills.
Thus, thanks to classes in the "ROBBO class," schoolchildren from an early age can gain the knowledge that is necessary to become the "digital Jedi" of the future - to learn to understand how new digital products are arranged and how to try to develop them themselves.
Classroom classes are held according to the program and with the help of materials that ROBBO began to adapt in 2022 to the features of the educational process of educational organizations in China. In particular, teachers use presentations containing more pictures and less text than "classic" presentations of "ROBBO."
Class teachers are experienced teachers and experts in the field of technology who have undergone special selection and training "ROBBO." In the summer, they held master classes for children at the training center as part of a camp organized by the company together with a partner. During them, teachers showed the children what and how can be studied using the ROBBO equipment.
In China, the system of additional education is significantly changing. We came to its market in 2021 and opened an office in 2022 - when completely new laws governing additional education were passed. Under the new rules, classes aimed at improving school performance and English are actually banned in China for October 2023. Parents are looking for new ways to "pull up" children in school subjects such as mathematics and physics and see the prospect in robotics classes, "said Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. |
ROBBO plans to launch another class in another training center in the country by the end of 2023, open a club with the help of a partner after the launch of the franchise and begin testing the bilingual training format: conducting classes in Chinese and English.
Opening of "ROBBO Clubs" in five cities of Belarus
The ROBBO company opened seven ROBBO Clubs in five cities of Belarus in 2023. Most of the clubs were launched following the company's franchisee decision to scale the business. Classes in all clubs and classes "ROBBO" in Belarus began in September 2023.
The ROBBO franchise begins to actively develop in Belarus. One of the drivers of this process was the implementation by the Ministry of Education of Belarus of a project to equip 150 schools in the country with company equipment.
In total, twelve "ROBBO clubs" work in Belarus in October 2023. Seven new clubs are located in Minsk, Borovlyany, Grodno, Luninenets and Pinsk. There are three more clubs of the company in Minsk, the rest are located in Borisov, Zhodino and Molodechno.
There are also 170 "ROBBO classes" in the country. Eight of them opened within a year thanks to the efforts of the schools themselves and the education departments of the district administrations. Back in 2023, the official service center "ROBBO" appeared in the country and the system of training teachers for clubs was debugged.
Classes in clubs and classes in Belarus are held according to the unified educational program and methodology "ROBBO," therefore they have no fundamental differences. On them, students work with ROBBO equipment. Children study robotics, microelectronics, circuitry, physics, program and get acquainted with various methods of 3D processing of materials using the ROBBO 3D Printer, ROBBO Laboratory, ROBBO Platforms, ROBBO Circuitry and ROBBO Dancing Robot.
Students go all the way from creating a robot image on a computer screen to bringing it to life using a 3D printer.
They also have the ability to disassemble robots, reproduce any part of them and make new modules for them.
Before ROBBO, Belarus was mainly interested in sports robotics. We laid the foundation for the development of a different, more complex and interesting direction of robotics in the country - implying project activity and requiring an interdisciplinary approach. Today in Belarus our brand is already recognizable and reliable for investment. Which is not surprising, since here in every city there is a school with company equipment. By the number of our clubs and classes, Belarus is the second country in the world after Russia, "said Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. |

For 15 years, ROBBO's investments in the development of the product line, the opening of circles, the preparation of educational materials, testing and the internal system of events amounted to about 500 million rubles. Of these, almost 300 million went to the creation of curricula that meet international STEM education standards. Another 200 million rubles were required to develop equipment and launch its own production in St. Petersburg and Finland, which annually equips hundreds of educational institutions in Russia and the CIS countries.
"We produce equipment on modern technological lines, which are designed for the technical installation of robotic kits in large volumes. We can scale production and produce hundreds of thousands of boards every month. So we are fully ready to switch Russian schools from foreign STEM technologies to domestic developments, "said Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. |
As noted in the company, the entire ROBBO product line is built on open source technologies - the company's software and hardware does not depend on imports, access to it cannot be limited by foreign vendors. It is suitable for implementation in Russian educational organizations even under the conditions of sanctions.

More than 100 thousand people are already studying at the ROBBO product line at the beginning of July 2022.
In Thailand, ROBBO products have been introduced since 2017. With the participation of local partners, the company develops a network of robotic circles "ROBBO Club" according to the franchise model, and also introduces "ROBBO Classes" into schools. and Bangkok Software some of ROBBO's methodological materials have been translated into Thai. They fully comply with international STEM education standards.
Supporting the project will allow us to accelerate expansion into the Thai market. As part of our cooperation government organizations countries , we have already held a summer camp for schoolchildren, as well as a regional tour of the international Scratch Olympics. Our local partners are negotiating the systematic supply of ROBBO products to educational institutions in Thailand, "said Ekaterina Ekalo ROBBO's franchise director. |
We see great potential in development in the Thai market. In recent years, the IT industry has begun to grow rapidly in the country. In addition, Thailand attracts many people from around the world who are interested in launching innovative projects. In the future, 5-7 years, it may well become one of the key international "hubs" for developers in Southeast Asia. But while this process slows down the acute shortage of IT specialists. It is necessary to train more programmers and developers of advanced technologies in accordance with the needs of a rapidly growing market. The launched initiative stimulates this process, - said Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. |
Opening a representative office in China
On April 26, 2022, ROBBO announced that it had taken up registration of the Chinese division after receiving a targeted commercialization grant in China. The development of the Chinese representative office of ROBBO China will be engaged in the general director of ROBBO JSC Andrei Smirnov.
The company opens programming and robotics circles for children - "ROBBO Clubs." At the same time, trademarks are being registered in China and the business model is being tested, which is being changed taking into account the specifics of the region. ROBBO China also recruits office employees and teachers.
In parallel, the localization of ROBBO products began. In particular, educational and methodological materials are being finalized and translated into Chinese. In China, an unusual bilingual training format for ROBBO will be tested: classes will be held in Chinese and English. From 2023, the company plans to start selling the ROBBO Club franchise.
"We are quite competitive at the world level as a country with a strong education - both secondary and higher, as well as a large, strong scientific reserve in order to count on success in innovation and their implementation, in business projects, in large industry, in serial production. Therefore, we are expanding the line of products and technologies with which we compete in the global market. This is the field of education, including in the field of robotics and the development of technical creativity in children. We are no longer talking about import substitution in our guidelines, we are talking about an export-oriented product. I am sure that we will have many reasons to talk about the success of our domestic Russian technological entrepreneurs, teams not just on the development of technologies, but on the creation of specific businesses competitive on the world stage on the basis of these technologies, " |
"We launched the first programming and robotics circle in China in 2017, and even then we thought about opening a full-fledged representative office of the company. We see the potential for development in the country: interest in robotics and STEM disciplines is colossal, but most educational organizations work on proprietary software and hardware and according to ready-made templates. This does not allow children to fully immerse themselves in the learning process and hinders the development of future innovators and inventors. The'ROBBO' methodology, built on the use of open technologies, can fundamentally change the situation, " comments Andrey Smirnov, CEO of ROBBO |
The company believes that the education reform, which started in China in 2021, will not become an obstacle to business development.
"The direction of programming and robotics does not fall under the restrictions in force in the country - it is not included in the pool of school disciplines. Therefore, we expect that the demand for the study of technical subjects in the country will only grow. In addition, there are more and more teachers in the labor market that we can attract to work at ROBBO China, " shared by Ekaterina Ekalo, ROBBO Franchise Director |

Inclusion in the Trusted Franchises Registry
robotics The ROBBO Club children's club franchise from a member of NTI the ROBBO Circle Movement was included in the register of reliable franchises. Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation For confirmation of conscientiousness the franchiser underwent certification of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The company announced this on December 28, 2021.
The project was launched in order to create a single database of proven, proven franchisors. Electronic service allows you to purchase a ready-made business, saving money at the start of the project and introducing already proven services, products and techniques.
In order to get into the electronic database, the franchisor successfully passed the audit of the Department of Digital Development of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The ROBBO business was evaluated in terms of the presence of existing franchise enterprises and registered intellectual property objects, as well as the financial condition and legal status of the franchise company.
The international network of clubs "ROBBO Club" has been developing since 2015 according to the franchise model. As of December 2021, more than 150 franchises of the school of programming, robotics and 3D printing have been sold throughout Russia and 23 other countries of the world, including in Europe, Central and Southeast Asia, the USA, and Africa.
The franchise implies the supply of training materials and finished equipment "ROBBO" for technical training. In addition, the company provides marketing, PR and business support at the launch stage of the circle: a calendar plan, assistance with maintaining a website and social networks, selection and training of teachers, legal and business consultations, as well as full mentoring of one of the existing ROBBO franchisees.
{{quote 'Franchising makes it possible to start your own business with minimal costs and risks, using the experience of the franchise company and a recognizable brand. Demand for this format continues to grow even in a crisis. But when buying a franchise business, it is extremely important to choose a proven partner. Therefore, it is so valuable for us to include the ROBBO Club in the Russian register of reliable franchises - this confirms for our partners that the decision they made is correct, "said Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. }}
Opening an online class in Bangladesh
The international franchise network of children's clubs "ROBBO Club" enters the South Asian market. Bangladesh is opening the first online classroom for schoolchildren to study programming, robotics, 3D modeling and circuit engineering. In 2022, with the lifting of coronavirus restrictions, the franchisee plans to launch several offline clubs in Dhaka.
The ROBBO Club robotics circle for children opens on the basis of a network of private language schools English. Franchisee plans to combine ROBBO programs with the main business area and develop a comprehensive commercial education one. to the country
In this regard, he is going to launch several children's robotics clubs throughout the city of Dhaka. First, the circles will open in a remote format due to the coronavirus restrictions in force in the country. As soon as the situation stabilizes, they will start working in an offline format.
As of December 2021, the online school is at the launch stage: teachers are trained by the international team "ROBBO." In the future, robotics, programming, 3D modeling and, 3D printing as well as technologies internet of things using a unique methodology and based on equipment from ROBBO, more than a hundred children from Bangladesh will be able to study.
Due to the growing interest of parents in children's education IT in the field, businessmen around the world see the opening of programming and robotics circles as opportunities for commercial success. So, our partner from Bangladesh decided to supplement the services of a network of private schools with the study of robotics and programming in English. This was made possible by the fact that all our materials are translated into English and meet international standards in the field of STEM education. This means that they can easily adapt to the requirements of the educational system of any country, "said Ekaterina Ekalo ROBBO's franchise director. |
The partner in Bangladesh is the first buyer of the ROBBO Club franchise in South Asia. But the ROBBO team sees great potential for development in this region. The fact is that the level of technical education in many countries of South Asia is still extremely low. At the same time, Asian IT markets are developing rapidly, and the need for IT specialists is growing. As long as the region's educational system adapts to change, commercial services for teaching children about programming can be scaled from more technologically advanced countries.
{{quote 'In recent years, Bangladesh's IT market is one of the fastest growing in the region. And in order to expand the IT talent pool, the country pays great attention to training the population to work with technologies. The educational sector is supported both at the local level and by international organizations. At the same time, school education, as well as throughout South Asia, does not yet meet relevant international standards. It should take some time before the school system is updated, and this is a great opportunity for commercial organizations to enter the Bangladesh market, "said Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. }}
'ROBBO ', even in the face of a volatile economic situation, continues to develop rapidly and effectively abroad and develop new regional markets. We are glad to see that more and more high-tech companies from Russia are promoting their products for export. This contributes to the growth of the Russian economy and strengthens the position of the domestic IT sector at the international level, - added the general director of the Sergei Polyakov Innovation Assistance Fund. |
Opening an online franchise club in Georgia
The international network of robotics schools ROBBOClub.Ru, created by ROBBO, has entered the Georgian market. The first circle in Tbilisi, launched according to the franchise model, operates in a remote format. About 100 schoolchildren are trained in robotics online. ROBBO announced this on March 3, 2021.
Online programs on Scratch programming, circuitry, 3D modeling and other IT areas are available to children. Classes are held in real time in small groups of up to 5 people, which allows teachers to pay attention to each child.
A strong team of teachers and administrators has already gathered around the project, which debugs business processes and is going to develop the direction of education in the field of robotics in the region. In the near future, it is planned to scale the online club throughout Georgia, as well as the opening in Tbilisi of the first offline circle ROBBOClub.Ru, as soon as the restrictions related to the coronavirus are finally lifted.
Georgia is becoming more and more attractive to IT companies. First, you can register a business in Georgia in a matter of days and with minimal investments. Secondly, the country provides for a loyal taxation system for entrepreneurs in the IT sector. In the global ranking 'Doing Business 2020' from the World Bank, ranking countries by ease of doing business, Georgia is in seventh place. And we see how the dynamic development of the industry creates an increased demand for professionals in IT. The study of circuitry, robotics and 3D modeling technologies from school will create a pool of young and promising innovation specialists in the country, - comments Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. |
The opening of the online franchise circle ROBBOClu b. Ru allows you to use a proven business model, ready-made software and methodological materials developed taking into account the requirements for distance learning in the field of IT. Thanks to this, the process is significantly simplified: for example, a franchisee partner was able to launch a project in Tbilisi in just a few weeks, investing about 20,000 lari, or 450,000 rubles, in it.
We have been negotiating with a franchisee partner for about two years. He visited our office in St. Petersburg, looked closely, talked with the managers of the ROBBO Clubs. And when he moved to Georgia in the summer of 2020, he risked opening the country's first programming, robotics and 3D printing circle. Due to the height of the quarantine, the franchisee decided to start launching a distance learning format. This allowed him to start in a short time and at a lower cost than if he had opened an offline club, "adds Ekalo Ekalo, franchise director of ROBBO. |
The international network of programming and robotics circles ROBBOClub.Ru has been developing since 2015. Starting with the launch of the first club in Finland, it has spread to March 2021 by 21 countries. There are more than 150 ROBBO Clubs on the network, of which 14 are their own. The rest are opened by franchise partners.
Inclusion of AR in the Robbo Clubs distance learning program
On February 8, 2021, ROBBO announced the inclusion AR of ROBBO Clubs in the distance learning program. In this area, children will be able to get acquainted with the technology augmented reality and work in the environment of interactive development Unity 3D and on the AR platform. Vuforia The course is designed for children aged 10 and over.
The AR course from ROBBO is aimed at solving two problems. First, it helps schoolchildren learn the basic skills of several popular professions of the next decade at once, such as AR designer or design engineer, 3D model developer. As part of the classes, children learn what augmented reality is and how to program AR interfaces. In addition, they learn how to work with sound, graphics, triggers and some ready-made objects on Unity and Vuforia interactive content creation platforms, as well as familiarize themselves with the basics and logic of the C# programming language. In just a few classes, ROBBO Clubs students "build" their own city and make a virtual journey through its streets by car in a specially designed AR application.
Secondly, the course should make the learning process of children more interesting and interactive. After all, augmented reality is not only a qualitatively different way of reading and perceiving information, but also an effective educational tool. The use of AR has been proven to increase the attention and involvement of schoolchildren in the educational process by 45% compared to more traditional ways of gaining knowledge.
Schools and additional education circles have to fight for the attention of children and adolescents with YouTube, TikTok and other interactive social networks. And this is especially difficult within distance learning, when control is reduced. Therefore, it is important to give teachers a tool that can really captivate every child, "comments Pavel Frolov, founder and producer of ROBBO. - Augmented reality allows you to find a balance between the need for schoolchildren to spend all their time in a smartphone and the desire of parents so that their children develop in a versatile way. |
This is not the first experience of ROBBO with AR/technologies. In VR August 2019, the company, together with the platform developer, virtual reality Varwin set the participants of the Project School Innopolis University Kazan in the task of programming robot in virtual reality (VR). The experiment turned out to be successful and showed the effectiveness of simulations in the process of teaching programming and. In 2021, to robotics the company plans to include robotics in virtual reality in the curriculum.

Launch Partner Program
In March 2018, Robbo of the Year announced the launch of a partner program. Now robotic kits for schools and educational institutions will be sold only through partners who will receive the appropriate level of marketing and information support from the manufacturer, as well as additional discounts on the purchase of equipment.
As of early 2018, Robbo kits are used in hundreds of educational institutions around the world, and are also the basis for Robbo Camps vacation and creative robotics olympiads among Russian schoolchildren and students. The launch of the partner program is designed to expand the geography of the project. According to the established rules, Robbo partners conclude an agreement for one year and will be able to take advantage of special offers for marketing support from the company, will have access to all the necessary information materials, as well as the opportunity to undergo training and certification on Robbo products and solutions. Partners will be offered special prices for demonstration kits, as well as individual discounts for the supply of Robbo products to customers.
In total, the partner program provides three levels - Authorized Partner, Silver Partner and Gold Partner. The basic partner discount can be increased depending on the status, execution of the business plan, and other special conditions. To enter the program, it is enough to register and apply. To become Robbo's silver partner, it is necessary to purposefully promote the company's products and conduct joint marketing activities with Robbo. Gold partners must also maintain certified staff, provide on-site teacher training, and work as per the annual business plan. Thus, a company of any size, even from the most remote corner of Russia, can become not only a sales center, but also a center of competence for training robotics in its region.
However, only a developed partner system can meet existing demand and help distribute robotics training programs in Russia and abroad. In the new partner program, we aim to encourage partners to accumulate expertise and train their specialists who could train teachers. I am sure that our main task is to make available such innovative educational programs as robotics for children from various regions and with any level of prosperity. The development of the partner ecosystem should create the basis for the dissemination of new knowledge and skills and make it possible to introduce new training programs in any region, - said Pavel Frolov, producer of the Robbo project. |
After the contract is concluded, official Robbo partners can send their specialists to training and advanced training courses on Robbo products.

The company plans to open "Robbo Clubs" in franchises and circles at schools in English and Chinese.
Russian robotics appeared in schools in Finland
The St. Petersburg robotics company Robbo, together with the charity We Foundation, delivered equipment for teaching programming and robotics to 25 schools in Finland. The project started in December last year, 450 educational institutions applied for participation.
At the heart of the project is the idea of creating a school innovation class where children could learn robotics, programming and designing robots on free hardware and software in interactive mode. In addition to the set of equipment, the project will provide teachers with the necessary technical support throughout the year, as well as free trainings and advanced training courses.
The idea of the program is to provide a high level of education for all children without exception, - comments Pavel Frolov, producer of Robbo. - That is why our equipment was received by schools throughout Finland, and not only in large cities: Robbo sets appeared in Helsinki, Turku, Porvoo, Pulkonkoski, Vaas and others. Innovative technologies are the key to the successful future of any child, and we hope that after successful implementation in Finland, Robbo designers will appear in schools in other countries. |
The kit consists of a Robbo Robot kit programmable modular system with magnetic sensor pads, as well as a board with Robbo Lab sensors and programmable sensors. In order for the child to be actively involved in the educational process, all products are optimized for Finnish and English and are built into transparent cartridges - thus children see the microelectronic part. All components of the educational complex can be disassembled so that the child can understand the principle of the device and independently create his own.

Robbo project received support from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI)
The working group of the expert council "Development of young professional personnel" of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) approved 10 projects at a meeting on October 20, 2016 at the Boiling Point coworking center in Moscow. The winners will receive administrative, methodological and information support from ASI. The TOP-10 got into the project of free educational robotics Robbo.
In 2016, the meeting was expanded for the first time: participants in the discussion were the Circle Movement of the National Technological Initiative (NTI), the Prosveshchenie publishing house, and the WorldSkills Russia Union. The presentation of the projects was carried out not only by leaders, but also by curators from expert groups. So the professional community and potential partners were able to join the discussion.
Almost all leadership projects supported by ASI are concentrated around the field of education. Pavel Frolov, producer of the free robotic project Robbo, connects this trend with the implementation of the import substitution policy: "In the context of a lack of own personnel and a low level of their training, on a state scale, it is necessary to focus on the development of the educational segment. Our task is to form a class of creative specialists who would be competitive in the world scientific and technical market and would adequately represent Russia in the world technology race. "
Robbo's initiative to popularize robotic knowledge and the movement of makers - domestic "homemade" craftsmen - is bearing fruit: from October 31, the project opens two new Robbo Club robotics clubs for children in St. Petersburg at the Sportivnaya and Vododny Canal metro stations. From October 31 to November 4, intensive robotics, circuitry and design will be held in all circles of the network, and Autumn Robbo Camp will work in two St. Petersburg Robbo Clubs.
