These satellites are used to provide video services and data services to millions of customers worldwide. Jio SpaceFiber will enable millions of Indian households and businesses to take advantage of broadband internet for the first time. The platform will initially work in the four most remote areas of the country - Gir in Gujarat, Korba in Chhattisgarh, Nabrangpur in Odisha and Jorhat in Assam. With the launch of Jio SpaceFiber, Reliance Jio is noted to be "demonstrating its commitment to closing the digital divide in India." With its low-cost 4G and 5G broadband plans, the company has been able to transform the country's telecommunications sector.[1]
