At the end of October 2023, the company Xiaomi announced the Mijia Ultra-Thin washing and drying machine running its own. operating system HyperOS You can interact with the new product through the color touch panel in the front, using the Xiaomi mobile application or through voice commands.

The machine has a version with a reduced depth: the indicator is 486 mm versus 563 mm for other Xiaomi equipment of this type. Thanks to this, Mijia Ultra-Thin can be built into a standard kitchen set with almost no protruding parts. The diameter of the drum is 530 mm. The product is designed in such a way as to maximize the load of laundry and at the same time ensure placement on the same level with other objects in the kitchen or in the utility room. Electric motor with direct drive is used, which helps to reduce vibrations. The four shock absorbers help to further reduce unwanted noise - especially when squeezed at high speed, which can reach 1,200 rpm.

The machine is capable of washing up to 10 kg of laundry, while drying is limited to 7 kg. There are 26 programs of all kinds, including a quick 15-minute wash. Sterilization and purification modes are available with high efficiency. Intelligent functions include automatic dispensing of detergent depending on the load and intelligent drying that completes the cycle based on humidity level data. The novelty also has high energy efficiency.

As of the end of October 2023, the value of the Mijia Ultra-Thin in the Chinese market is 2,299 yuan (approximately $314). The washer-dryer is available in gray with a black stripe in the area of ​ ​ the touch control panel.^[1]
