In Russian Product the first stage of implementation of EDMS Directum is completed

In September, 2010 the Russian Product company of the beginning automation of electronic document management from a test project based on software of EOS Group company, however, favored further EDMS Directum and now performs full-scale system implementation in all the divisions.

One of the largest Russian producers of grocery products, "The Russian product", began the project on system implementation of electronic document management (EDMS) on the Directum platform. The Galaktika corporation acts as the system integrator of the project.

Meanwhile, it was initially going to use as a basis for corporate EDMS not Directum, but the EOS for SharePoint system developed by Electronic Office Systems (EOS) company. In May of this year based on one of divisions of "The Russian product" the pilot project on implementation of this system was started. Then the parties reported that by its results the decision on workflow automation of all company will be made.

"The Russian product" seriously prepared for the project: specialists of the company were even trained in EOSE and were going to perform further implementation independently. However, further plans were changed.

As explained TAdviser in EOS Group company, it occurred in spite of the fact that "the pilot project passed successfully". But as "in one of branches EDMS of other vendor already worked, it was decided to use in all holding already available system".

The choice of Russian Product for benefit of Galaktika, certainly, was influenced also by the fact that they cooperate many years. So, in Russian Product holding the Galaktika ERP system for solving of tasks of production management, control of cost value, management of financial, personnel and material flows is implemented.

As reported in Galaktika, 50 licenses Directum for implementation of the first stage of the project are already delivered to Russian Product. Further the number of licenses will be doubled, and the number of users will exceed 250 people. Besides, in the short term ERP and ECM systems will be integrated into unified information environment of Russian Product group.

In September, 2011 in JSC Russky Produkt the first stage of system implementation of electronic document management of DIRECTUM is completed. Work on the project began in the first quarter 2011 under the direction of the CIO company of Davydov O.V.

At the first stage of automation the following tasks are implemented:

• output of new types of finished goods (including approval of basic and temporary compoundings, approval of changes of basic compoundings);
• approval of production programs;
• approval of bonuses to distributors;
• creation and approval of memos;
• approval of internal documents;
• connection of the new employee with access rights;
• approval of organizational and administrative documents (orders, orders, provisions);

requests for payment.

Now in a system 100 users work, active work on approval of different types of agreements is conducted. The next stage of the project – automation of all business processes of the company using the modules Office and Management of Meetings of DIRECTUM.

Staff of the company noted that as a result of system implementation of DIRECTUM in JSC Russky produkt it was succeeded to arrange and simplify key business processes in all divisions of the company and to pass to paperless document flow, considerably having accelerated accomplishment of routine transactions.
