2023: Introduction of a digitalization system for own procurement

Post Bank has introduced a system for digitalizing its own purchases based on the Russian software "E1-Procurement." This will reduce the labor intensity of the procurement process for the bank by 20-30% while reducing the duration of the procurement cycle by 15-20%. The bank announced this on November 8, 2023.

The project affected more than 4,000 workplaces. The implementation was carried out in a record period for the industry - 6 months, which is on average 2 times shorter than the average period for similar-sized systems. Technologically, the system is business critical, being integrated with 4 corporate and 2 external information systems of the bank. In particular, integration with the Single Electronic Trading Platform (SETP) and the Corporate Online Store (KIM) and others with electronic trading platforms has been organized.

At the start of work, we identified the procurement automation project as one of the key for the bank and set ourselves the task of implementing it in a short time while maintaining high quality. At the same time, when choosing a procurement management system, it was important for us to use the solution of the Russian developer. Thanks to the implementation of the system, a solid foundation is laid for the further automation of not only the procurement process, but also related business processes. In general, for the bank, the economic effect of using such a solution can be up to + 0.8% of profit in annual terms, - said Victoria Steblyuk, head of the procurement service of Post Bank, project manager.
