Axelot has developed for "Muhammadi Firdavs" a variant of the new warehouse detailing the zones and processes

2023: Warehouse Design

AXELOT designed a warehouse for OOO Muhammadi Firdavs, providing both a detailed description of the areas and processes inside the warehouse and its location on the construction site. Axelot announced this on November 8, 2023.

Mukhamadi Firdavs LLC is a distributor of global brands, oils, lubricants, antifreezes, filters and other consumables for the automotive industry in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The AXELOT project team was to design an optimal capacity warehouse in a new place, taking into account the growth of the business of Muhammadi Firdavs LLC until 2027 inclusive, develop effective technological processes taking into account the peculiarities of cargo turnover, as well as calculate the required number of personnel and warehouse equipment.

During the project, AXELOT specialists performed the following works:

• The optimal rack systems were selected and designed, their location and dimensions were determined;
• Calculated the optimal storage area capacities by category and product group and their relative location in three different options;
• Developed process charts of main and auxiliary business processes that will reduce the amount of time and personnel for warehouse processing;
• Calculate the required number of personnel and make recommendations regarding PTD;
• Developed the architectural and construction concept of the warehouse.

In the architectural and construction concept, AXELOT specialists reflected the logistic details, which must be taken into account by the construction contractor. The recommendations will allow Muhammadi Firdavs LLC to locate future storage facilities on the land plot as efficiently as possible, taking into account highways and railways, proximity to adjacent sections, location of power lines and other factors.

AXELOT worked in detail for OOO "Muhammadi Firdavs" system of calculation of cell sizes and layout options. This will provide the flexibility of the warehouse based on the needs of the business and will satisfy the needs of both the quantity and the volume of the bins. Several acceptance fronts were developed, including road transport, rail transport with railway tracks and small-tonnage transport. AXELOT has also provided all necessary support facilities, including warehouse personnel facilities.

In addition to the main technological design, AXELOT developed indicators of the warehouse operation efficiency for Muhammadi Firdavs LLC, cited the rules for their calculation and recorded the industry average values ​ ​ that the customer will be able to focus on when assessing his own processes.

The implementation of the AXELOT recommendations will allow OOO Muhammadi Firdavs to use the warehouse space most efficiently, optimize warehouse logistics and competently build a motivational scheme for personnel in order to increase the efficiency of its work.
