Career
2012-2016
In 2012, Igor Banin headed the regional center for disaster medicine. In 2016, he moved to the position of chief physician of the city clinical emergency hospital No. 1 (BSMP No. 1).
2022
According to the publication "Voronezh News," by the end of 2022, Igor Banin headed the top rich Voronezh chief doctors. His average monthly salary in 2022 was 184 thousand rubles. Thus, for the year he earned more than 2 million.
In the declaration for 2021, Banin indicated income in the amount of 3.7 million rubles.
2023: Appointment as Minister of Health of Voronezh Region
On November 22, 2023, the government of the Voronezh region announced the appointment of Igor Banin as the new Minister of Health of the Voronezh Region.
Until the beginning of October 2023, the Ministry of Health of the Voronezh Region was headed by Alexander Shchukin. He held the position since 2015 and resigned of his own free will.
After Shchukin left, First Deputy Minister Oleg Minakov became the interim head of the department. Local media reported on the likely appointment of Banin to the post of head of the Ministry of Health on November 16, 2023. Then it was noted that at the regional level, his candidacy passed all the necessary approvals.
Igor Banin is a candidate of medical sciences and a member of the regional political council of the United Russia party. Before becoming Minister of Health of the Voronezh Region, Banin worked as the chief physician of the city clinical emergency hospital No. 1. BSMP No. 1 includes 805 beds, 13 inpatient departments, 10 auxiliary services and 24 administrative and economic services. The hospital and its former head physician in recent years have not been seen in any resonant[1]
