IDS Borjomi Russia & Belarus introduced the artificial intelligence of Directum, which announced this on November 30, 2023.

Every year, employees of IDS Borjomi Russia & Belarus agree on 14 thousand contracts. To reduce labor costs and time for processing documents, they decided to shift the verification stage onto the shoulders of artificial intelligence. To do this, the company switched to the supply option Directum RX Intelligence with built-in AI services.

AI mechanisms have greatly accelerated and simplified work. For November 2023, without human participation, they determine the type or category of documents, scan the text, highlight key facts, dates, events and other information important to the company and employees. Further, documents are compared and areas where discrepancies are detected are highlighted.

The results of the analysis and comparison are presented in a convenient and visual form so that the employee can quickly see which fragments of text have been changed, added, and deleted. This improves the efficiency and accuracy of verification, reduces the time for analysis and comparison of documents.

As is often the case with familiarity with the new technology, resistance was first observed. Together with the employees, we went through all five stages of adoption. Gradually, people realized what artificial intelligence was capable of, and rejection was replaced by trust. Now he is perceived not just as a program, a robot, but as an assistant, said Elena Sergeyeva, head of legal function of IDS Borjomi Russia & Belarus.

The results of the introduction of Directum RX Intelligence into the contractual work of IDS Borjomi Russia & Belarus:

• Artificial intelligence has significantly simplified the task of comparing and processing contracts. Now the employee spends up to one minute verifying one document.
• Transactions accelerated.
• The issue of storage was resolved. Recognized documents are sent to an electronic archive and no longer take up shelf space.
• The performing discipline has increased. Thanks to automatic control by AI, workers are more responsible and attentive to which version of the contract is transferred to it for processing.
• Executives spend less time making decisions. AI prompts those responsible who should send the task for consideration or delegate the order.

The company's management and employees plan to implement Directum RX Intelligence in other areas where a high percentage of routine remains. Among them are the construction of an accounting department, personnel and design workflow.
