2023: Video Surveillance Launch for Order Points

Rostelecom on December 7, 2023 launched a special version of the cloud solution for business - video surveillance for points of issue of orders (PVZ). The solution is focused on marketplaces and multi-brand points of issue. Owners of such properties often face fraud and conflict situations, especially during periods of promotions and sales. Video surveillance helps prevent incidents and minimize the risk of financial losses.

Rostelecom's solution meets all the requirements of trading platforms for PVZ equipment: at least two cameras to cover the client and warehouse areas, continuous seamless recording with a fixed date and time, as well as a long video shelf life. In addition, the use of a dedicated Internet channel instead of mobile Internet allows you to guarantee stable and high-quality video recording.

Rostelecom offers video surveillance for PVZ as a turnkey service - the company's specialists will connect IP cameras and test all equipment, set up a personal account and install a mobile application or free software for a computer. In the personal account of the service, users will be able to independently combine cameras into one system, create any number of accounts and configure access roles. Customers can also connect their own video cameras to cloud video surveillance.

The archive of videos is stored for 90 days, you can view it through a browser or mobile application. The geography of the network makes it possible to organize reliable and secure data transfer in all regions of the country, which makes the service optimal for use even in PVZ networks with the widest federal coverage. Customer data is transmitted in encrypted form and stored in Rostelecom's secure cloud for an unlimited time.

The task of Rostelecom's cloud video surveillance is to help customers serve customers efficiently and quickly, as well as ensure transparency of processes. We analyzed the market requirements and issued a solution that will protect the business from losses. In particular, it will reduce the number of conflict situations at points of issue, which means that it will also minimize the risk of fines. This is especially true during periods of increased load on marketplaces, for example, on the days of New Year's purchases and sales. In addition, a significant video surveillance dog for our customers will be a dedicated data transmission channel, which, unlike the mobile Internet, ensures the stable operation of the service, - said Timofey Abramenko, Director of the Department for Work with Medium and Small Businesses of Rostelecom.
