The online aggregator "Eat Village" automated the warehouse using the solution of the company "Scanport," which announced this on December 12, 2023.

The online aggregator "Eat Village" is engaged in the sale of food from farms from the Tver, Yaroslavl, Lipetsk and Moscow regions, Krasnodar Territory and several warm countries. The company has its own distribution center - where products are received from suppliers, after which they are sent to customers who leave an application in the online store.

Previously, the company used manual accounting (by paper) in the distribution center. It was necessary to automate all business processes, from acceptance to shipment, in order to minimize the human factor, increase the speed of collection and dispatch of orders, and reduce the time for warehouse operations. It was also necessary to organize address storage to quickly place and find the necessary products, exclude re-inventory and optimize the area.

At the beginning of the project, the customer switched to 1C. Employees of the distribution center needed a mobile application to process barcodes, record the movement of goods and exchange data with the accounting program.

To solve the tasks software DataMobile , the Online versions have been implemented. Honeywell EDA50K data collection terminals were selected as equipment. The model is equipped with a keyboard unit and a touch screen, supports all wireless methods communications (,, Wi-Fi 3G Bluetooth/).4G The built-in image scanner recognizes any 1D- and 2D barcodes from paper media and LCD displays. The battery is enough for a full 12-hour shift.

The DataMobile application easily integrates with 1C and allows you to automate barcode accounting in any area of ​ ​ product movement. The interaction of the terminal with the accounting program is carried out online. All changes in 1C documents are automatically displayed in the shipping documentation.

In DataMobile, you can select a task from a "product accounting," create packing lists when picking, keep records of shelf life, serial numbers and batches. The software implements the functionality necessary for organizing address storage.

Warehouse employees can edit label templates on the terminal and send them for printing to a mobile printer directly from the point of receipt or inventory. The typical functionality of DataMobile fully complies with the customer's requests and allows you to solve all the tasks set.

Before contacting us, the accounting of goods in the company was carried out manually. It took a lot of time to perform warehouse operations: acceptance, distribution to storage places, assembly of orders, inventory and shipment.

The problem was solved with the introduction of address storage based on DataMobile. When placing products in a distribution center, each position is "tied" to a specific cell. All subsequent movements are recorded in the shipping documentation and reflected in 1C. When collecting an order for shipment, even new employees can quickly find the item at the cell address specified in the task. Automation helped to avoid losses associated with re-sorting, as well as prevent delays in delivery due to the absence of any position.
