2023: Women's Health Centers Launch

On December 19, 2023, it became known that Medion, which owns one of Uzbekistan's largest networks of private clinics, will open five women's health medical centers in Tashkent. They will operate under the brand "New Life," providing a wide range of services.

As noted on the Medion website, the company's network of clinics as of the end of 2023 includes three large multidisciplinary medical institutions, each of which has its own characteristics. All these clinics are equipped with modern equipment from such foreign manufacturers as GE HealthCare, Alma, Dornier, Olympus, etc. Services are provided in more than 20 medical areas. Among them - gynecology, pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, psychology, physiotherapy, gastroenterology, MRI, etc.

The first two centers within the framework of the New Life project will open in 2024. They will provide a full range of services in the profile of "obstetrics and gynecology," including compulsory and voluntary insurance programs. The price level, as Medion notes, will correspond to the "average +" category.

In the future, the New Life network will include three more centers in Tashkent, and in the future it is planned to scale the project throughout Uzbekistan. The total costs of creating and equipping facilities are estimated at $40 million (3.68 billion rubles at the exchange rate as of December 21, 2023). The area of New Life institutions will vary from 1,500 to 3,000 square meters. The range of services will include maternity care, pregnancy management, perinatal and neonatal care (including cardiac surgery at neonatal age), oncogynecology, ART (including IVF), aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery. Each of these clinics will be able to receive up to 10 births per day.
