2023: Construction of a pharmaceutical plant for 1.4 billion rubles

The Kronopharm Industries company, which is part of the Kronopharm group of companies, received a land plot in Shchelkov near Moscow for the construction of a factory for the production of medicines. This was announced in December 2023 at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

The area of ​ ​ the pharmaceutical complex will be 6 thousand square meters. m. The company will create about 200 jobs. The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the region assured that the launch of the project will make it possible to import substitution of drugs produced in Belgium, the USA, Germany, Hungary, France and other countries.

The start of production is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. The volume of investments in the project will amount to more than 1.4 billion rubles, said Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region Ekaterina Zinovieva. According to her, production will be launched at the site provided to the company for the implementation of an import-substituting project under the Earth for 1 Ruble program.

The plant in the Moscow region will be the first own production of Kronopharm. The project will be truly ambitious, requiring special technical, technological and organizational solutions. We will all strive to replenish the list of production facilities in the Moscow region with another high-quality object of the international level, - said Tatiana Kosheleva, financial director of Kronopharm, whose words are quoted by the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Investment.

What kind of drugs are planned to be produced at the plant is not specified by December 21, 2023. Kronopharm Group of Companies is engaged in the production of a number of drugs at contract sites, produces lexicons with INN diosmin, melatonin, ademethionine, mesalazine, nifuroxazide and colecalciferol, as well as phospholipids.^[1]
