2023: Preparation for the launch of an automated furniture line in Saratov

At the Maria furniture factory in Saratov, an automated line of Nanxing, one of the representatives of the world market for specialized furniture production equipment, is being prepared for launch. Maria is updating its fleet of production equipment as part of a long-term investment project worth over 1.5 billion rubles. The furniture factory announced this on December 21, 2023.

The installation, testing and launch of the line is planned to be carried out by the end of 2023, and in January 2024 to reach the planned volumes.

At Nanxing, the automated line is considered one of its best developments. The equipment covers an area of ​ ​ 2000 square meters and includes four areas, each of which is responsible for a separate stage of the production process: cutting of slab material, edge lining, drilling, additive and milling, sorting.

Control over the operation of the line is carried out using the software and the management system "Industry 4.0." Each part manufactured on the equipment is automatically marked with a unique barcode. At the same time, only four operators are required to manage the full production cycle.

All equipment elements were made according to Nanxing's author's projects, including software, which was developed by a separate team of experienced engineers and programmers. The line is flexible and allows you to maintain high performance rates.

The implementation of the project will allow us to implement large-scale plans for the development of the company. We will continue to open new large studios, which will feature complete solutions for the whole house - kitchens, cabinets, furniture for living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and laundries. As of December 2023, our brand is presented in 127 cities of Russia and Kazakhstan, where 330 Maria studios successfully operate. In 2024, we will open 40 more new studios. Including in the foreign market - Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, UAE. The updated powerful production will also give a big impetus to the development of furniture sales to developers. In 2023, the Maria company delivered almost 6 thousand sets of furniture to Russian new buildings. With new equipment, we will be able to produce for developers not thousands, but tens of thousands of units of products annually, "said Efim Katz, CEO and founder of Maria.

The acquisition of the Nanxing line was the next stage in the implementation of an investment project to modernize production, which Maria launched in 2021. As a result of the project, the factory is planned to be transferred to a single modernized production site. Earlier, over 50 million rubles were also allocated to update the main building of the Maria factory. Another 25 million rubles were invested in the development of the transport infrastructure of the enterprise. By 2025, Maria intends to completely reconstruct production, automate the warehouse of slab materials, purchase new equipment for painting work and open a workshop for the processing of quartz agglomerate and veneer.
