2023: Move to the Visiology platform

The heads of the Moscow School of Economics of Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov and the Russian developer of the BI-platform Visiology with the support of the company 7RedLines signed an agreement on strategic partnership. As part of the cooperation, the Faculty of MSE will launch training courses for specialists in the field of analytics and management, which will solve real problems and study world practices based on Visiology. Visiology announced this on December 25, 2023.

The Moscow School of Economics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov since its creation offers a special model of economic education. Thanks to MSE, leading Russian companies can count on highly qualified personnel, and students receive the most relevant experience with involvement in practical activities and the use of the latest technical means of training. The introduction of practices with the leading Russian BI-platform Visiology into the educational process will allow us to meet the growing demand for specialists in this field, to train personnel who can make management decisions and implement data-driven management practices using the capabilities of Russian software in the BI field, - said MSE Director of Moscow State University named after M.V. Initially, we provided maximum support for the launch of cooperation between Visiology, the Russian platform in the field of BI, and the Moscow School of Economics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, faculty for the training of specialists in the field of economic strategy. MSE students are distinguished by mathematical training and deep immersion in the disciplines of the economic and managerial cycle. The fact that graduates of MSE Moscow State University will have all the skills to work on the Visiology platform creates favorable conditions, including for our customers, companies from different industries, who have already switched to Visiology or are in the process of building their BI expertise, - said Igor Sataev, leading business development manager at 7RedLines.

Thanks to the cooperation of the vendor and the faculty, from 2024, a special direction "Economic Theory and Analytics" will be created at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and students of other educational tracks will be able to hone their skills in BI on the basis of Visiology, using existing competencies in working with Power BI Microsoft.
