SPbPU Graduate School of Business Engineering implements the PIX BI data analysis system and the PIX Processes process management organization platform. PIX Robotics solutions will be used both for teaching students and for implementing process automation projects in companies. PIX Robotics announced this on December 27, 2023.

The Higher School of Business Engineering (VSHBI) of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University provides training in current areas, combining the practices of classical economic education with applied skills in the field of IT. The school was among the first educational institutions in Russia to teach students how to work with business analytics systems. Since 2015, VSHBI has been conducting research in the field of data and process management, as well as conducting projects to automate technological, production and business processes in organizations. The accumulated experience is used by companies from various industries: medicine, oil refining, transport, power.

In 2023, PIX Robotics chose solutions from PIX Robotics to switch from foreign software to domestic software. Important criteria for choosing were the ability to quickly migrate, high-quality vendor support, as well as regular updates. The School's specialists will use several PIX ecosystem products at once: the PIX platform Processes for rendering and analyzing business processes and the PIX BI data analysis system for visualizing data and making decisions based on them.

PIX solutions will be used in their work and employees of the scientific laboratory of the Higher School of Economics, where they investigate the processes of technological and social transformation in the context of the transition from traditional energy sources to alternative ones. For example, the PIX BI system and the PIX software robot will collect and process statistical and economic data to predict the effects of energy transitions.

The transition from foreign software to PIX products was quite fast. Their interface and functionality are similar to the solutions we used before. And due to the fact that the PIX ecosystem is constantly growing and filling with new technologies and services, our graduates receive up-to-date skills in business analytics and process management, which helps them in employment, - commented Ilyin Igor Vasilyevich, Ph.D., professor, director of the Higher School of Business Engineering of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great.

In 2023, the Higher School of Business Engineering joined the PIX Enlightenment program. Now students are trained on PIX platforms and use them when doing practical and scientific work. For example, since this year, PIX BI has been operating students of the master's program "Data Management in a Digital Organization." In the future, PIX products are planned to be included in other areas of preparation. PIX Robotics experts also participate in workshops and hackathons, during which future specialists can better familiarize themselves with domestic developments and pump their skills in practice.
