On December 28, 2023, Astra Group announced the introduction of the domestic WorksPad solution into the IT infrastructure of Roszheldorproekt JSC, a subsidiary of Russian Railways (Russian Railways). WorksPad is designed to organize the safe work of staff with corporate IT resources from tablets and smartphones for iOS and Android.

According to the company, mobile devices are installed a container application that is fully controlled by the employer and at the same time does not interact in any way with the user's personal data. WorksPad allows you to configure encryption and security policies to ensure the optimal level of protection for your company's data and prevent it from leaking.

The decision to implement the product was based on several factors. In particular, it was necessary to provide a secure environment for the remote operation of many users with corporate resources. Earlier, the information security requirements of the organization did not allow remotely connecting to mail and applications, and attempts to resolve this issue using VPN clients and applying different policies on mail servers did not give the desired result.

As part of the project, 700 licenses for WorksPad were purchased, the software was integrated into the server infrastructure and installed on personnel mobile devices. As of December 2023, the Company's employees use corporate mail and other resources on a daily basis, while meeting all the Company's information security requirements.
