Events of week: Hitachi Information Forum in Moscow and many other things

November 15

On Monday SAP CIS starts a seminar on a warehouse control system which will last up to the end of this business week.

50-year anniversary Birger Steen, the known figure in the Russian IT market celebrates this day. From 2004 to 2008 Birger headed the Russian division of Microsoft company, then became her vice president, and at the moment is the CEO of Parallels company.

It is interesting that in the same day in Microsoft one more birthday boy – the current director of the Russian office of corporation Nikolay Pryanishnikov. To Microsoft Pryanishnikov built the career mainly in a telecom, since 1999 – in one of the largest Russian mobile operators "VimpelCom", having left it as the CEO and having passed into Microsoft.

November 16

On Tuesday Hitachi Information Forum starts, the main task of a forum – to discuss the prospects of development of technologies for creation of the data processing centers (DPC). A key subject of a forum will become - the declaration of an exit of our new flagman storage system, the Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform platform. It is the only platform of DWH with a scaling option in three dimensions which is suitable for all data types.

In the same day in the Novosibirsk office of Microsoft company there will take place the seminar "New opportunities for retail: business analysis, balanced scorecard". In its framework the BILab company will submit the integrated, reliable and simple platform in use for BI with which any specialist by means of usual tools, such as Excel, SharePoint, ProClarity or using Web of the interface can work.

Also this day in Moscow the technical conference for users of ARCserve Backup will take place. The Russian scientist Boris Babayan, the corresponding member of RAS in Polytechnical Museum will read a lecture about the present and the future of computer architecture. The NORBIT in Moscow will be started by the action "Publishing business / Publishing Expo 2010" devoted to information technologies in media the sphere.

Also one of the CIO forums, oldest in Russia, starts. ECM producer of the Directum systems will provide "DIRECTUM 2010-2011 lineup". In St. Petersburg two largest IT exhibitions which will work to the 18th start at the same time: it is Radio electronics and instrument making 2010 and Automation of 2010.

November 17

The BILab company together with Microsoft company will hold on November 17 a seminar "New opportunities for retail: the business analysis, the balanced scorecard" in Krasnoyarsk.

Also on Wednesday the round table "Effective management of supply chains and cargo transportation will take place: logistics, transport, warehouse". The consulting company IT-Box and Microsoft corporation act as his organizers. The action will take place in the Technology center Microsoft. Advance registration on an action is obligatory.

Other remarkable events of day: The IV Russian conference for banks[1]of a Small and Medium Business "Effective Business of SMB Banks" segment which became to already traditional. This year the action will take place from November 17 to November 19. Also this day there will take place the conference devoted to IT in energy industry. 

Since the environment three days will work with InfoSecurity Russia. StorageExpo devoted to storage systems and data protection.The forum I BM Cognos Performance 2010 will help to get acquainted with IBM Cognos technologies which allow to integrate the separate given companies into a uniform source of information.

Wednesday the Birthday is celebrated by Oleg Shkinev, the vice president of ITG company, before for 10 years heading INPAS company.

November 18

On Thursday in Moscow the seminarof BILab "Performance Management System for the Enterprises of a Power Supply" company will take place. At a seminar it will be told about technologies of Microsoft company which are used in industry solution of RestaurantBI of BiLab company, and also current perspective and tasks of business, functionality and examples of implementation.

On November 18 and 19 in Novosibirsk the regional conference "TELECOM Siberia - 2010 will take place. Market of telecommunications: the general trends with regional accents". The conference is devoted to questions of market development of telecommunications in the West Siberian macroregion and intended to create the business platform for consolidation of knowledge and opportunities of market participants for the purpose of development of the regional strategy of development for the industry.

November 19

On November 19-20 in St. Petersburg there will take place the Eighth international conference in the field of ensuring quality of softwareof "Software Quality Assurance Days". SQA Days is conference No. 1 on space of the CIS and one of the main actions in Eastern Europe devoted to scope of testing and ensuring quality of the software.
