Integrated transportation management of Binnopharm Group is automated using Axelot TMS

The automated accounting of all needs for the transportation of Binnopharm Group, flight control and expense analytics became possible thanks to AXELOT TMS. Axelot (Axelot) announced this on January 18, 2024.

Binnopharm Group is one of the pharmaceutical companies in Russia, which has assembled five production sites under a single management. As of January 2024, the company has representative offices in 7 countries, produces more than 370 million packages of medicines per year, sells its products in 13 countries of the world.

Transport logistics Binnopharm Group is a complex and large-scale structure with a large number of traffic. The company's production sites are located in different regions of the country, they must be supplied with raw materials and materials. Finished products are delivered to warehouses or directly to customers. In addition, there is a need for transportation between warehouses and the organization of household transportation - transportation of special equipment and passenger transportation.

The growing business and the company's entry into new markets clearly highlighted the need to automate transport logistics - it became extremely labor-intensive to effectively manage and control such a large volume of transportation manually. Based on the results of the tender, AXELOT was chosen as the contractor for this task.

The implementation of the AXELOT TMS implementation project took 6 months. For these six months, Binnopharm Group has received an automated transportation management system, thanks to which it can now keep track of all transportation needs, monitor the performance of flights by drivers, and keep detailed accounting of expenses.

The selection of carriers is now carried out using the portal in the AXELOT TMS system. Prospective contractors receive flight requests via e-mail and can confirm or reject them. The logist of the company receives answers from carriers and selects the optimal one based on the provided data on the vehicle and driver.

The work of drivers helps to control the mobile client AXELOT TMS. Details for each stage of the flight execution with indication of time, performed operation and information on possible deviations are available in the appendix. The progress of the flight in real time helps to track satellite monitoring. The logist sees the planned and actual routes, as well as all events on the flight that the driver notes in the mobile client. If the driver does not have the opportunity to use the application, the logist records the passage of points manually on the basis of the route sheet or on the basis of the planned parameters of the flight.

The system implements a wide range of reports that allow you to solve the tasks of operational monitoring, analyze transportation statistics by transport companies, monitor compliance with temperature conditions and compare the plans and actual results of flight performance.

AXELOT TMS has implemented accounting of actual expenses with subsequent control of tariff rates, control of payment, as well as comparison of prices for rates per flight in the context of the carrier and direction.
