2023: Completion of the implementation of automated workplaces for employees

The X-Com Group of Companies has completed the project of introducing automated workplaces of employees into the information system of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "All-Russian Research Institute of Physical, Technical and Radio Engineering Measurements" (FSUE "VNIIFTRI"), one of the national metrological institutes. X-Com announced this on January 19, 2024.

The development of fundamental and applied research, as well as experimental developments in the field of metrology and ensuring the uniformity of measurements, required the customer to organize additional automated workplaces (AWS) of representatives of the Scientific Council, researchers and engineers.

X-Com conducted a pre-design survey of the customer's IT infrastructure, including firmware, network equipment, and client systems. The requirements for workstations used in software research were also analyzed. Based on the obtained data, recommendations for the WS composition were developed and technical specifications were drawn up, including requirements for equipment and its typing depending on the tasks performed by the personnel.

Workstations of own production X-Com, manufactured specifically for this project, were chosen as the basis of AWS. This made it possible to implement a solution with the best price/performance ratio, as well as the most fully meeting customer requirements. For visualization of data , the AWS also includes monitors AOC ASUS Full HD resolution with long-term protection technology sight. The project was carried out in strict accordance with the contractual conditions in terms of volumes and terms and was highly appreciated by the customer.
