2024: Product Announcement

On January 24, 2024, information appeared that the Tullamkho design bureau, based in Grozny (Chechen Republic), developed a specialized optical system for identifying snipers and saboteurs. A complex called "Ronin" will be sent to the special operation zone.

"Ronin" is a multifunctional product assembled from civilian components. The system can be used for reconnaissance, security and targeting. When performing reconnaissance functions, the geographical coordinates of the observed object are calculated in the absence of reference to the terrain. In turn, security involves the identification of any optics, including passive, directed by the enemy. In guidance mode, a link to an automatic weapons platform is added to the security functions: after detecting an enemy object, the gun independently aims and fires.

The Ronin complex operates in the infrared range. One of the advantages of the Russian system is compactness: the developers compare the device with a ten-inch tablet, on the back of which a power supply and a board that processes signals are installed. In addition to its small size, the system is low cost. It is noted that the tests of the complex were carried out at the Russian University of Special Forces.

Specialists of the Tallamkho design bureau also developed the BUKH1a acoustic reconnaissance system (Sova), which is a budget analogue of the Penicillin 1B75 artillery reconnaissance complex. The novelty receives and processes acoustic waves from shots and explosions, reporting information about the location of enemy guns. The range of the system varies depending on the type of gun and ranges from 100 m to 20 km.[1]
