2023: Testing the EPL signing solution

Kaliningrad-Gor Trans, together with the operator of the Kaluga Astral EPD, tested a solution for signing an EPL and releasing vehicles using the State Key service in the Astral Mobile mobile application. Kaluga Astral announced this on January 24, 2024.

During the pilot operation, the inspector of the technical condition of the transport MCP Kaliningrad-GorTrans installed the State Key application and signed electronic waybills from his smartphone without using a computer. This solution allows you to adapt to the needs of the user, as a result of which the mechanics do not need to return to the stationary PC after inspecting each car, which reduces the process of releasing the vehicle onto the line and makes the process faster and more convenient.

Kaliningrad became one of the first regions where they began to use an electronic waybill on public transport. The importance of such pilot projects is in the detailed study of all possible scenarios, including from a technical point of view. This allows you to take into account all possible nuances and pitfalls, and will help in the future to scale the electronic waybill to other regions with the lowest costs - said Polina Davydova, director of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association.

In the future, the use of the solution will optimize operating costs and capital expenditures when switching to an electronic waybill. For example, when scaling the use of the State Key technology, we will be able to optimize all processes, in particular the use of computer equipment and save on digital signature for some employees, said Vladimir Fomin, director of the Kaliningrad-GorTrans MCP.
