2023: Installation of 37 complexes for automatic recording of traffic violations

In December 2023, in order to reduce the level of accidents arising from traffic violations by drivers, as well as in order to create conditions for the inevitability of punishment for committed offenses on regional and municipal roads, Leningrad Region including at intersections, an additional 37 complexes for automatic recording of traffic violations were installed. Among them are 20 photo and video recording complexes of "GK Azimuth 4 production," Urbanteh which acted as a contractor GKA LO "CBDD" under a state contract for the implementation of work on equipping stationary lines with automatic photo and video recording of traffic violations. Complexes of automatic control over compliance with traffic rules "Azimut 4" are included in the top 3 complexes of photo and video recording, are used in 42 regions, and Russia countries CIS have already confirmed their effectiveness in reducing the accident rate. They help to improve the level of road safety and perform tasks to reduce transport and social risks. The complexes are able to recognize 51 composition of traffic violations: both typical, for example, driving on the side of the road, entering the oncoming lane, crossing a solid marking line, and trains neural network using processing: data violations of the rules for using a seat belt, driving and phone others. At the same time, the complex can record more than 12 types of traffic violations.

On the roads of the Leningrad Region, Azimut 4 complexes recognize signs of such types of traffic violations as exceeding the established speed, leaving the stop line and passing the intersection to the prohibiting traffic light, as well as violation of the rules for using seat belts.

The cameras were equipped with sections of regional and municipal roads at points determined by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate based on data on road traffic accidents. Complexes of photo and video recording of traffic violations are one of the effective and effective measures in reducing the level of road accidents.
