LANGAME is an IT company that builds a large ecosystem around computer clubs and esports. It includes software for managing a network of computers and consoles, a mobile application for booking gaming places and an aggregator where information about existing e-sports centers in Russia and abroad is collected and classified.

At the start of the project, the client did not consider the option of using an on-premium model. It was understood that own physical infrastructure was an extra investment and lack of flexibility. LANGAME's club management software was focused on working in the cloud. The client needed to decide on the choice of a cloud service provider.

Cooperation with Timeweb in the framework of Internet commerce hosting projects has become decisive when choosing the cloud provider Timeweb Cloud. In addition, the cloud infrastructure met the stated requirements of the customer: it scaled up if necessary, guaranteed the availability of the service and was launched in a few minutes.

LANGAME leases Timeweb Cloud cloud servers to deploy basic software and a server part to manage a computer club. In practice, this looks like a bundle of an application installed locally on a PC in a club and a kernel on a VDS in the cloud.

The cooperation between LANGAME and Timeweb Cloud strengthened in 2022, when a company providing software for automating computer clubs left the Russian market. This coincided with the launch and announcement of the LANGAME Software solution, which easily replaced the product of the previous vendor. Cloud provider Timeweb Cloud quickly provided computing power based on which LANGAME quickly deployed software for 500 new customers.

Timeweb noted that from September 14 to October 4, 2023, the Timeweb Cloud IT infrastructure underwent a series of level 4 DDoS attacks, peak power reached 1.5 Tbit/s. The implementation of a number of measures to strengthen the security of the cloud infrastructure has successfully repelled the attack.
