2024: Launch of its own power center at full capacity
On February 9, 2024, the production and engineering company PSM announced the launch of its own energy center at full capacity.
At the PSM Prime plant in the Yaroslavl region, it launched its own gas piston power plant at full capacity.
After commissioning in the summer of 2023, the AKM's own energy center in the city of Tutaev has been fully operational since January 2024, providing electricity production. In addition, the station supplies production facilities with heat. The construction and launch of the energy center is an important event for optimizing the company's energy consumption, checking and modernizing client supplies, as well as ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the PSM Prime plant. Thanks to the gas limit obtained for the operation of the power center, a test bench of gas piston plants (GPU) is implemented, which allows you to check the operation of all gas power plants produced by the company at full load, while simultaneously monitoring their synchronization with each other during parallel operation. So, in 2023, PSM produced and conducted factory tests of 24 gas power plants.
The launch of our own PSM energy center is a significant step for both us and our customers, - said the General Director of PSM Andrei Medvedev. - The power plant allows to realize the full energy efficiency of the Prime plant. And tests of all produced GPUs distinguish us among competitors as a responsible supplier and contractor for the construction of gas generation of any complexity. |
The PSM power center is built on the basis of the Industrial Engines (Baudouin) engine, one of the brands in the field of gas generation. This strategic solution allows you to gain your own experience in the operation of the engine of this brand and ensures the reliability of the equipment produced. The heat recovery system of the power center makes it possible to use the heat generated by the engine (from the cooling system and from exhaust gases) to heat the production premises. The power center is capable of operating in a wide temperature range (-40 ° C to 40 ° C) and operates in parallel with the network without the need for constant control.
