2023: Implementation of the Vitro-CAD General Data Environment

Vitro Software implemented the Vitro-CAD General Data Environment in the Leader Group Group. During the project, a typical system configuration was established, including integration with CAD programs, the Vitro Planner planning module, documentation approval functionality, QR coding.

Project objectives

• Organize a Common Data Environment for development, exchange and approval of documentation between the Project Designer and the Project Customer.
• Implement clear document versioning.
• Differentiate user access to information - each user sees and works only with those documents to which he has access.
• Automate the documentation approval processes from internal approval within the project office to submission of the finished documentation to the archive.

At the same time, the solution must be deployed on the customer's servers to ensure that the customer has full control over the administration of the system, as well as the storage of all information within its server structure.

Implementation results

Embedded Components:

• Vitro Pro is the basic functionality of Vitro-CAD for the organization of the General Data Environment.
• Vitro Process Manager is a workflow management module.
• Vitro QR-coder - a module for checking the relevance of paper drawings at construction sites.
• Vitro Planner is a module for planning and managing project tasks.

As a result of the introduction of GK Leader Group, it received a professional solution for managing construction project data. Automated documentation approval business processes.

Currently, 76 users work in the system. The implementation demonstrates an example of the efficient use of Vitro-CAD pigs for construction and development companies.
