2023: EME.WMS Implementation
EME has completed a project to implement a management system at the Cosmos Electro warehouse.
Cosmos Electro is part of the Russian TOP-10 for basic household electrical goods.
The company's warehouse with an area of 2500 sq.m. is located in Moscow.
The goal of the project was to automate all the main business processes of the warehouse and prepare for integration with OMS (automatic tracking systems for sales and stocks, the number of orders and their fulfillment) for working with marketplaces.
An interesting feature of the project was the implementation of the free movement mechanism. The mechanism allows the warehouse employee to automatically drop pallets from the storage area, wait for the required quantity of goods to be collected. Then EME.WMS it returns the processed pallets to the storage area. The system itself will check whether the employee can lift the pallets back. If there are reserves, it will not allow pallets to move up.
Due to the implementation of EME.WMS, a significant percentage of dependence on the human factor and errors. During the project, the process of fully automatic inventory of the warehouse is implemented.
The next stage of cooperation between EME and Cosmos Electro will be integration with the OMS system.
