2023: Mikhail Fedorov - ex-head of the International Bank of Finance and Investments arrested in the case of embezzlement of 350 million rubles

On January 30, 2023, it became known that the ex-head of the International Bank for Finance and Investments (MBFI) Mikhail Fedorov was arrested in the case of embezzlement of 350 million rubles. He was sent to Sison Basmanny District Court of Moscow until March 16, 2023. Read more here.

2016: Disconnection from bank payments system

On April 26, 2016, it became known that the International Bank for Finance and Investment (MBFI) was disconnected from the system of bank electronic urgent payments (BESP). This follows from the internal distribution of the Central Bank to Russian banks. As indicated in the document, the participation of MBFI in calculations in the BESP system is completely limited[1]. Later it became known that the bank's license was revoked.

MBFI Bank was one of the sixth hundred in assets. The bank is controlled by 14 individuals.

- The amount of deposits of the population and funds of individual entrepreneurs in MBFI Bank as of April 1, 2016 amounted to 281.4 million rubles, - comments the head of the analytical department of the bank BKF Maxim Osadchy. - The responsibility of the DIA in case of revocation of the license from the bank may be about 253.2 million rubles. The loss of the bank after taxation for the first quarter of 2016 amounted to 7.4 million rubles. As of April 1, the bank's capital was close to the threshold level of 300 million rubles and amounted to only 378.9 million rubles.

2008: Renamed the International Bank for Finance and Investment

In August 2008, the bank was named the International Bank for Finance and Investment. He specializes in retail and corporate business.

2004: Renamed Ardanax Bank

In December 2004, the bank was renamed Ardanax Bank.

1996: Transition to the form of joint stock company

Since 1996, the bank has been operating in the form of an open joint stock company.

1992: Creation of the Cameo Bank Cameo

The bank was created in 1992 under the name "Cameo."
