2024: Completion of transition to ORS PSS platforms
Azimut Airlines has completed the migration to an updated version of the Russian platform for managing passenger service ORS PSS. The migration will enhance the airline's business process management capabilities and improve the quality and availability of its services to passengers and agents. ORS (ORS) announced this on February 29, 2024.
The key advantages of the updated ORS PSS are intuitive web browser interfaces, a stable service-oriented architecture, online synchronization of the CRS booking system with the DCS passenger check-in system, and the ability to flexibly configure business rules. The result of the migration will be complete or partial automation of most processes related to the management of pricing and scheduling, distribution of air tickets and additional services, interaction with agents and airports.
Service-oriented architecture provides a flexible approach to managing and controlling changes in the platform. It minimizes manual operations when scaling and significantly improves the health of components in the event of failures.
Azimut Airlines uses the most current aviation technologies to ensure the information security of the company, agents, partners and passengers, as well as automate and scale business processes, - commented Dmitry Zvonarev, Director of Strategic Development of Azimut Airlines. |
Migration to the updated ORS PSS gives Azimuth many advantages. This step will expand the airline's capabilities in the distribution of air tickets, strengthen protection against cyber threats, and also automate a number of processes. These are key success factors for a fast-growing and active airline like Azimuth. At the same time, the updated platform is more flexible and easy to maintain, - added Alexander Sizintsev, General Director of ORS. |
