2023: Delivery of two anthropomorphic robots
Fora Robotics delivered two anthropomorphic robots to St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after Prof. M. A. Bonch-Bruevich. Representatives of Fora Robotics reported this on January 15, 2024.
Robots For-1 brought to St. Petersburg State Technical University named after Prof. M. A. Bonch-Bruevich for the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems. They were purchased for research work as part of a megagrant.
In addition to typical characteristics, including face recognition and memorization, voice and speech recognition generating answers to general questions and maintaining a conversation, arbitrary movement offline and under the control of the operator, demonstration of images and videos on the screen, specially commissioned by the university, robots are additionally equipped with hands with movable fingers. This option greatly expands the possibilities of programming robot and gives a wide field for imagination to future engineers.
In recent months, we have noticed an increase in demand for robotics, both industrial, educational and service. This, of course, is very pleasing - the presence of robots, especially Russian-made ones, at the faculties and laboratories of our universities, makes it possible for students to get acquainted with current solutions, work on their inventions, and, in general, increases the level of knowledge and practice in working with robotics. said Alexander Kuznetsov, CEO of Fora Robotics.
