Softline company integrator booked audit of a control system of web traffic of the company of OBI.

Objectives

The project of audit of the WEB FILTERINGS system in the company of OBI within which, within a month, specialists of Information Security Center of Softline Services carried out a number of works on the analysis, assessment and the Websense Web Security setup is complete.

To the project

Earlier in the company of OBI in addition to web filtering the complete solution Websense Web Security implementing web security functions which block harmful and potentially dangerous websites was implemented.

Solution

Efficiency evaluation of functioning of Websense Web Security in OBI began with the analysis of a current status of structure of the system on control of web traffic and its settings. In the project progress specialists of Softline Services revealed the directions of optimization of a system, offered recommendations about setup for the purpose of increase in efficiency of its work, developed organizational technical documentation allowing to formalize substantially work of the administrator and also to simplify to users acquaintance to a system and to increase resistance to failures.

Results

Based on audit Websense Web Security was documents are developed:

• concept of an end-to-end system of control of web traffic;
• regulations of actions of the administrator;
• user instruction.
