System Operator of the Unified Energy System creates infrastructure of the dispatching center

Asteros and SO UES increase reliability of management of power facilities in Chelyabinsk region.

About the Project

On November 25, 2010 the Asteros company started reconstruction of office of the Chelyabinsk dispatching center SO UES. In a work progress specialists of the company will create engineering and IT infrastructure of the center and will equip it with the hi-tech equipment. As a result the new dispatching center will allow to provide positive control of power generation facilities in the region.

Solution

For reliability augmentation and stability of management of power facilities in Chelyabinsk region the management of SO EES made the decision on complete reconstruction of the office building – the regional dispatching office (RDO). Now in management of the Chelyabinsk RDU there are more than 5 largest generating enterprises of area, and its economy contains about 400 transmission lines and more than 190 transformer substations and distributors. Management of a similar complex requires the powerful, reliable and modern IT infrastructure supporting continuous and stable work of the dispatching center.

Objectives

During the project specialists of the company reconstruct the building, from scratch will provide its engineering and technology equipment, automate more than 100 jobs. Works will affect creation of a structured cabling system, the local computer network, the system of telephone communication, a power supply system, the ventilation and air conditioning system, fire extinguishing, a security system, etc. Besides, Asteros will provide delivery and installation of the server hardware, equipment for conference calls, a conference room, installation of television systems, radiofikation, master clock systems.

"In the last year energy consumption volume in our country considerably increased, as a result, production capacities of the enterprises increased, the structure of power networks changed.
