2024: Start training on the basics of lean manufacturing

The team of LLC "Portion Products" has begun primary training in the basics of lean production. Understanding the need to improve production, the company's management decided to participate in the national project "Labor Productivity." The project operator in the Kaluga region is the Regional Competence Center (RCC), operating on the basis of the Business Development Agency, which announced this on March 20, 2024.

Portion Products LLC is a multifunctional production company founded in 2012 and offers its customers an integrated approach to the implementation of production processes on an outsourced basis. The range of products produced at the enterprise as of March 2024 has more than 150 items. Mainly goods are produced under the trademarks of customers, including trading and production companies of federal coverage, federal and local retail chains, international companies. The company exports to Belarus and Kazakhstan, has a full production cycle - from recipe to packaging.

We decided to join the national project in order to achieve productivity growth - from 5 to 10% annually. Together with the team, we want to master new lean production tools that will help us get the expected effect, "said Aleksei Kozlov, General Director of Portsevye Productsii LLC.

After the primary training, the team will go through the "Diagnostics and Planning" stage, where the reference area will be determined. After that, under the guidance of the production wizard, the current state of workflows will be digitized. Within 3 months, the company will then establish a project office of instructors-employees of the company for the subsequent implementation of changes and replication of successful experience.

In 2020, Portion Products launched its own production and laboratory complex in Obninsk, Kaluga Region, on the basis of which innovation and application centers operate, which allows developing import-substituting recipe solutions and ensuring the introduction of highly efficient food production methods.

Among the goods produced not by the enterprise are sauces, soy products, cooking kits, functional nutrition products.
