The Russian company Servicepipe, which specializes in detecting and filtering automated cyber attacks on web resources, has launched two new traffic filtering nodes. The company announced this on March 26, 2024.

In Novosibirsk, the point of presence of Servicepipe is open in the Rostelecom-DPC data center, in St. Petersburg - in the Selectel-DPC data center. These filtering nodes make it possible to connect customers locally, as well as significantly increase the speed of traffic delivery to companies in these two regions working with local customers. Until recently, when traffic was sent to Moscow for cleaning, the delivery delay was about 50 milliseconds. After opening the filtering nodes, the delay time was reduced to 2-20 milliseconds (depending on the client's distance from the Servicepipe point of presence).

In 2024, Servicepipe plans to open several more new filtering nodes in the Far East and the CIS countries to improve the quality of service to local customers.
