2024: Kornfeld Switch Introduction

On March 29, 2024, YADRO introduced the first model from the KORNFELD line of high-performance data center switches. The device is designed using switching technologies and provides integration with server, network and YADRO storage systems to create ready-made data center solutions.

KORNFELD switches are multifunctional and productive devices with wide functionality focused on the highly loaded network infrastructure of data centers, computing clusters and corporate data networks.

With a performance of up to 3.2 Tbit/s, the switches support L2 and L3 traffic processing at the hardware level. The devices offer a traditional set of network protocols for data centers, including OSPF, BGP, ECMP, VRRP, MLAG and SSH, SNMP, REST API management interfaces.

The hardware capabilities of KORNFELD allow you to select the direction of cooling fan blowing. All ports are located on the front panel, and on the back there is access to two power supplies and six fans with the ability to replace them without stopping the device.

KORNFELD is completely our development, ranging from a hardware platform to software. We aimed to create a product with an optimal combination of functionality, performance and reliability, which would be most suitable for high-load data centers and meet the needs of customers in various use cases, - said Pavel Egorov, Product Director of YADRO. - The devices are manufactured at the full-cycle plant Core Fab Dubna and meet all the requirements for domestic equipment.
