The 1990th

In 1994, Sergei Schneider and his family created the Lenkom company, which was engaged in the supply of beer and low-alcohol drinks. For several years, the company has achieved a partnership with the largest beer producers. Subsequently, Lenkom became a major regional wholesaler with a branch network in Siberia and the Far East.

2004-2023

In 2004, the Schneider family launched a chain of beer stores "File," and three years later the company had several dozen stores in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and neighboring regions.

The first store "Traffic Light" was opened by Schneiders in 2009 in Krasnoyarsk. Financial difficulties forced the owners of the chain to close part of the stores, but by 2023 the retailer had about 3 thousand stores.

According to Forbes, at the end of 2022, the total debt of the Traffic Light group was negative: this means that there was more money in the accounts than loans were attracted.

In 2021-2022 companies of the "Traffic Light" group brought their owners about 14 billion rubles of dividends (before taxes).

The owner of the Traffic Light chain of stores, Sergei Schneider, has become a dollar billionaire. Forbes magazine estimated the entrepreneur's fortune at $1.4 billion. The publication reported this in early April 2024.

According to Forbes, Sergey Schneider was first included in the rating of dollar billionaires. For a businessman, "Traffic Light" is the third business, but the most successful. In addition to Sergei Schneider, the retailer's co-owners are his brother Andrei, mother Valentina, and father Ivan.
