2024: Implementation of CAE Fidesys
Aeroflot switched to innovative domestic software CAE Fidesys for strength analysis and engineering justification of design solutions developed in terms of repairs and modifications of aircraft of domestic and foreign production. The project was implemented by Borlas API (Group Borlas). Aeroflot announced this on April 1, 2024.
The CAE Fidesys information system will be used in the development of operational and design documentation within the framework of the FAP-21J aviation equipment developer certificate. Aeroflot design engineers were able to carry out technically complex calculations by mathematical modeling for the design solutions being developed without the need to use a similar ON one from unfriendly developers. countries Thanks to to Russian IT the product, Aeroflot design engineers will be able to speed up the development and release of operational and design documentation by replacing some of the expensive laboratory and bench tests with modeling and engineering analysis.
The capabilities of CAE Fidesys are largely superior to their foreign counterparts. For example, this software allows you to work with detailed model geometry (i.e., without simplification and idealization of geometry), providing the most accurate calculation result. CAE Fidesys also implements functionality for calculating parts and assembly units from polymer composite materials and for parts manufactured using additive technologies.
The Borlas team for several months implemented and configured CAE Fidesys software, developed a package of technical documentation, and also trained employees of the Aeroflot design center to work with the system. CAE Fidesys has a user-friendly interface and thoughtful logic for working in the system. Combined with adapted Borlas training programs, this allowed users to quickly master the product.
