Aeroflot switched to innovative domestic software CAE Fidesys for strength analysis and engineering justification of design solutions developed in terms of repairs and modifications of aircraft of domestic and foreign production. The CAE Fidesys information system will be used in the development of operational and design documentation within the framework of the FAP-21J aviation equipment developer certificate. The capabilities of CAE Fidesys are largely superior to their foreign counterparts. For example, this software allows you to work with detailed model geometry (i.e., without simplification and idealization of geometry), providing the most accurate calculation result. CAE Fidesys also implements functionality for calculating parts and assembly units from polymer composite materials and for parts manufactured using additive technologies.

The Borlas team for several months implemented and configured CAE Fidesys software, developed a package of technical documentation, and also trained employees of the Aeroflot design center to work with the system. CAE Fidesys has a user-friendly interface and thoughtful logic for working in the system. Combined with adapted Borlas training programs, this allowed users to quickly master the product.
