2024: Engineering Center Launch

On April 15, 2024, the Vladimir company Abbyy, one of the largest Russian producers of sausages, frozen semi-finished products and completely ready-made dishes (brands - Vyazanka, Starodvorye, Chebupeli, Hot Thing), announced the launch of an engineering center for the meat processing industry. Within the framework of the project called "Abi Engineering," in which 187 million rubles were invested, it is planned to establish the production of parts and equipment for the group's own needs.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Abi Engineering LLC was registered on April 3, 2024 in Vladimir. The main activities of the company are forging, pressing, stamping and profiling, production of products by powder metallurgy.

The new structure will become the scientific and technical center of "Abbyy," while performing research and development work, the press service of the group specified. The new structure will develop solutions for parts and units for the supply of which there are restrictions, with the prospect of completely replacing such equipment with domestic analogues or own developments.

It is estimated that the new company will employ about 100 people. A new room with a total area of ​ ​ more than 7 thousand square meters will be designed specifically for Abi Engineering LLC.

The creation of its own engineering center will increase the reliability of equipment, introduce innovative solutions and adapt work to the changing needs of the market, - comments Tatyana Trifonova, General Director of Abbyy. - At the same time, we consider it important to continue to develop cooperation with domestic companies, scientific and educational institutions in order to ensure the exchange of experience and new technologies.[1]
