CRPT (operator of the state marking system "Honest Sign") together with the company LLC "Quantron Group" on April 17, 2024 presented the Russian camera of technical vision (code reader). The hardware platform and software were fully developed by the Russian company under the localization program for equipment for labeling goods.
The main goal of the localization program, which is implemented by the CRPT, is to create high-quality Russian equipment to ensure technical sovereignty. The camera works on the principle of the human eye - it captures information in the form of an image or video and processes what it sees using artificial intelligence. We have received patents for methods for recognizing parts of an image and methods for localizing machine-readable codes. We also developed algorithms for finding edge points. The camera is suitable for any production tasks related to the need to recognize and analyze images of the product, including for Industry 4.0., - said Maxim Shadrin, director of Quantron Group LLC. |
Unlike conventional smart cameras and scanners in our reader, image pre-processing and code localization are performed on FPGAs. This chip does not need additional computing devices and can transmit processing results to a controller or network device. Thanks to this, high decoding performance is achieved, exceeding the same indicator of smart cameras with previous generation chips by 10 times.
