Insurance company Independent Insurance Group LLC (IC NSG) offers over 40 types of insurance and reinsurance services. The company also participates in the implementation of state programs for compulsory insurance of industrial enterprises.

The strategic direction of the NSG IC is to provide insurance protection for high-tech industrial enterprises, including civil liability insurance for manufacturers of aviation works and services.

Before the start of the project, the processing of insurance documentation and work with information bases were carried out in third-party programs using foreign software, which caused the risk of data loss.

To organize a transparent process of registration and accounting of aviation insurance risks, it was necessary to automate coordination procedures, processing incoming documentation and issuing contracts, policies, additional agreements based on client requests.

The partner of the automation project was 1C Rarus with a large staff of certified document management specialists and experience in working with companies in the insurance sector.

1C Rarus experts designed and launched a customized ECM system based on the standard configuration 1C: Document flow 8 KORP, rev 3.0.

Automated business processes that increased the quality and speed of interaction between management and risk insurance departments, including aviation:

• execution and control of assignments;
• approval and signing of policies;
• processing of insurance claims;
• approval of losses;
• processing of contracts, including contracts with experts;
• processing of memos.

Project results

• Optimal documentation processing procedures have been developed, according to which customized business processes have improved the efficiency of employee interaction and the productivity of the organization.
• You have modified the typical configuration by creating an extension to customize document forms, reference books, tasks, and the original user page.
• A web service has been implemented for integration with the existing accounting system. This provides a single data entry point and automatic document synchronization, which helps to save time for personnel.
• A mechanism has been developed for automatically creating files of issued policies in Russian and English for different types of insurance products from one form to be filled out according to a template. This reduced the time to issue documents and reduced the risk of errors due to the human factor.
• A quick search is provided for unique details: insurance number and document date, external number and document date, counterparty, product type, tariff, total insurance amount, payment status, payment date, etc.
• An interface familiar to the company's users has been created. Visual and functional elements have been designed and developed to create and maintain document accounting.
• A unique document linkage mechanism has been developed. The implemented improvements significantly increased the ease of navigation in the usual interface when working in the 1C: Document Flow system.
• A transparent process of working with documentation in terms of registration and accounting of insurance risks for the aviation industry is organized. This was made possible by the introduction of version accounting, control of the performing discipline, the participation of the working group of the document in processing, the existence of a life cycle and the history of working with it.

Cooperation between 1C Rarus and the Independent Insurance Group continues within the framework of system support. In the future, it is planned to automate other types and types of insurance products of the enterprise.
