The Baltika company updates the solution IP telephony in the headquarters

In the headquarters of Baltika company the works on creation of the corporate phonebook for application with IP phones are completed. Later this service will be available also in other divisions of the company. The integrator is BKS-IT LLC.

The first step

The decision on creation of a corporate directory for IP phones of Baltika company was made considering specifics of a telephone network of the enterprise and a number of unique requirements to an end product. The existing solution did not allow to implement them.

About the Project

The Direktoriya service of a packet of "PhoneUP" developed by BKS-IT for expansion of basic opportunities of the corporate communication network built on Cisco technologies allowed specialists of Baltika to organize the corporate phonebook for use on IP phones of the company. The uniform address directory contains as phones of employees (internal, mobile and landline numbers), and numbers of general purpose (protection, through passage, etc.). Any incoming call is identified on phone, with detailed data about the client. Service allows to lower search time of necessary number considerably. The phonebook is integrated with a personnel management system of Baltika company based on IBM Lotus Notes/Domino.
