Aurus PhoneUP 2.5
In version 2.5 of the PhoneUP software service package, a new service is included - "Record." The service provides both recording of telephone conversations of employees within the network, and registration of negotiations with external participants. Two recording modes are supported - registration of all conversations and on-demand recording. When the second mode is selected, the user activates the recording of the current conversation by pressing the IP phone button, while the conversation is saved from the very beginning. A special function for top managers of the company prohibits other members of the connection from initiating recording their conversations.
"Write rules" define the directions to be recorded. For example, you can restrict recording to long-distance calls or, conversely, to intra-network conversations only. Particular attention is paid to the convenience of working with the archive of records and the distinction of access rights to recorded negotiations.
The call recording program from BCS-I & T uses a method that does not require port mirroring (SPAN). This method has a number of advantages, among which you can list the ease of administration, ease of use, reliability, and security.
Aurus PhoneUP 2.6
On July 12, 2011, a new version of the PhoneUP software services package from the Russian partner Cisco Systems BKS-IT was released. With this version, the capabilities of Cisco corporate IP telephony users were supplemented with such functionality as:
- sending voice announcements to mobile and city phones, which allows you to significantly increase the efficiency of informing groups of employees (sending notifications to intranet phones is available to users of the PhoneUP service "Announcements" from earlier versions);
- Storing in the corporate directory of the city numbers of subscribers with additional numbers and automatically activating DTMF dialing when the subscriber is called from the directory from an IP phone.
- Display IP phones with the most frequently requested information from internal and external online resources. This feature is provided by the new PhoneUP service - "Inform."
The Inform software service is essentially a designer with which you can create reference books for use on IP phones. This can be a weather forecast, exchange rates and quotes of securities, flight schedule, balances in warehouses, a list of tasks that require urgent solution, etc. An important advantage of the service is that working with it does not require special knowledge and skills, so that the system administrator can independently design directories in accordance with business needs.
2012
Aurus PhoneUP 3.1
In April 2012, Aurus introduced a version of its software product for Cisco corporate IP telephony - PhoneUP. The main changes affected the "Record" service and the "PhoneUP Agent" utility.
- Record conversations from any network device. The introduction of a new recording method made it possible to remove the restriction on the type of devices to be recorded. Now the Recording service can be used to record conversations from Cisco IP phones of any generation, as well as from other hardware and software devices registered in the corporate telephone network.
- Listening to recordings on your phone. The second update affected working with the record archive - now the recorded conversation can be listened to directly from the phone, including initiating the recording to play into the current telephone conversation.
- Call management, personal directory and dialing from MS Outlook. The new toolkit was received by users of the PhoneUP Agent utility. Making communications more convenient will allow you to:
- manage calls from the call card to the PC (transfer the call or assemble the conference);
- Make a call from the message or from the MS Outlook Address Book contact card.
- create a personal reference book (available only to users of the "Directory" service);
- Get complete information about the subscriber's presence status before calling him (available only to the Presence service users).
- Call history in the PhoneUP Agent utility and on the user's phone
Now users of the "Directory" service and the "PhoneUP Agent" utility can familiarize themselves with the call history containing the name of subscribers and/or company names, and dial the numbers that appear there with one click of the mouse.
Aurus PhoneUP 3.2
PhoneUP "Blocking" restricts access to the IP phone during the absence of an employee. The service automatically locks the phone when the employee leaves his workplace, closing access to personal information (call history, personal telephone directory, etc.) and restricting paid outgoing calls. Incoming calls are forwarded to the number specified by the user.
The PhoneUP Conference service allows you to restrict access to audio conferences. For each conference, the Administrator configures a list of internal and external subscribers who can join it. The administrator monitors the current composition of participants from the web interface, having the ability to disconnect any participant during the telephone meeting.
Users of the Directory service have the opportunity to create personal telephone directories that are available for viewing and editing only themselves. And the Administrator of this service can distinguish access to corporate directories, thereby increasing the general level of information security.
The updated functionality of the PhoneUP "Recording" service includes the ability to choose the format for recording telephone conversations: OGG, MP3 or WAV.

PhoneUP - service "Directory"
The Directory service of the PhoneUP package, developed by BCS-IT to expand the basic capabilities of the corporate communication network built on Cisco technologies, which allows organizing a corporate telephone directory for use on the company's IP phones. The unified address book contains both employee phones (internal, mobile and city numbers) and general-purpose numbers (security, entrance, etc.). With any incoming call, the phone displays the "caller's card" with detailed information about it. The service allows you to significantly reduce the time to search for the required number. The telephone directory can be integrated with the human resources system, so any changes to it are reflected automatically.
Aurus PhoneUP 3.6: Software "Secretary Console"
In June 2014, the release of 3.6 of the PhoneUP software product is released, expanding the capabilities of Cisco corporate IP telephony users. Now the package includes a tool for visual management of calls and contacts - the Secretary Console.
"PhoneUP Console" runs on an employee's computer and manages their Cisco IP desktop phone. This interface helps:

- secretaries and office managers - effectively serve the telephone communications of the manager (organize conferences, connect to the necessary subscribers, intercept calls to your phone during the absence of the chief);
- Sales Managers - Save time searching for a contact in a multi-page directory, parsing missed calls, and searching for contact information when an incoming call is received.

The Ads service expands the standard functionality of Cisco corporate IP telephony with the ability to send voice and text announcements to groups of employees. The main features of the new service:
- Real-time broadcast of messages
- distribution of pre-recorded voice and text announcements,
- integration with the existing public address system,
- organization of scheduled periodic distribution,
- Manage groups of recipients.
The PhoneUP package module will help solve several problems facing a modern Russian enterprise at once:
- notify groups of employees - in cases when their workplaces are not equipped with computers, or their use is impossible for technical reasons;
- notify employees about an emergency at the enterprise - at the same time, all phones are switched to "hands-free" mode and, at maximum volume, broadcast a message about the threat that has arisen (additionally, integration with the existing hands-free system is possible);
- Inform security personnel about violations detected by security systems by broadcasting a pre-recorded message through the external speakers of their IP phones (to implement this function, you need to integrate the service with the implemented security systems).
- emergency communication of employees with the security department - when calling a specially designated short number ("02"), all security phones start broadcasting in the hands-free mode of the message of the calling employee.
The main goal of creating this service, as well as the entire PhoneUP package, is to help Russian enterprises maximize the capabilities of Cisco's deployed corporate IP telephony network and, thus, accelerate the return on investment in its construction.

For example, when integrating with CRM, Cisco Jabber will sign any incoming call from the client using standard means. The new functionality is also in demand in heterogeneous communication networks - the Directory module will allow you to combine contacts of all remote divisions and affiliated companies, regardless of the PBXs used in them. And if the current information about employees and their phones is stored in a specialized HR system, Cisco Jabber will be able to receive contacts directly from it.
In addition, the PhoneUP 3.8 package includes a new module - "EM authorization," which is designed to automate the authentication procedure on a Cisco IP phone when using Extension Mobility.
