2024: Transition to BI platform Insight begins

The RCNI provides work with research and development data, provides access to electronic publications and scientific information resources, develops scientific diplomacy, conducts information and analytical support for the activities of the Commission for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation and much more. The Insight platform allows you to work with data at the visual level, providing easier and more efficient data processing and decision-making based on it. It is also planned to transfer the entire pipeline of data collection and preparation to Insight.

The introduction of flexible domestic solutions is necessary for convenient and efficient work with data. For the tasks facing the RCNI, you need reliable software with the ability to deploy the solution in the infrastructure and a high level of customization. It is important for us to be able to deploy analytics in any format, customize widgets pointwise and develop ours. The Insight platform, which was proposed by the Goodt team, approached our tasks, "said Kirill Garev, head of the research and development department of the RCNI.

The first stage of the project has already been launched - using Insight, a set of standard customized reports and dashboards has been created to help make decisions in the field of scientific and technological development.

Employees of the RCNI management and analytics are a very strong team in terms of the process of working with data. Colleagues created their own computational cluster to build models and analyze data.
